Cheap price which is still to steep for a place of its stature. The only positives were the location and the fairly friendly staff and that doesn't even begin to offset the negatives: trashy interior halls, terrible smell, rooms were unkempt and severely in need of updating both cosmetic and structurally, mattresses were stained, comforter was raunchy looking and itchy, sheets that were on the bed had stains we requested new sheets and they brought us a second set that was stained as well finally received a third set that was worn but no visible stains. There were no towels or washcloths in the room upon arrival, and when we requested some they said that they had none available and they would bring them once they finished being laundered this was around 8pm. By the time they brought us towels at 11pm we had already showered and dripped dry. They brought two very small bath towels two washcloths and one handtowel and when we requested a couple more towels apparently that was the only set in the motel despite the reason we had been forced to wait was due to the towels being cleaned. The room phone would not connect to the office. honestly I can't say for sure if they dialed out at all I didn't try any other calls from it. They did not offer coffee or any breakfast accommodations. The mirror placement in the room made no sense at all and were not practical nor allowed any type of functionality one would expect out of a mirror. The pillows were dingy. The tvs were severely outdated. The door that leads from the interior halls to outside were incredibly loud when they closed and seemingly the abrupt slamming shut was unavoidable as I tried each time to hold the door or slow it down hoping to lessen the noise factor. And lastly, although u might wonder why after all these "lovely amenities", someone would ever wish to endure their stay any longer than necessary, make sure ur ready to go at 11am because they refuse to grant anyone a late Checkout even when u r merely waiting for ur...

When I arrived at Madison Inn & Suites, I walked into the lobby and found a note on the front desk with a phone number to call for assistance. I called that number at least 10 timesāno answer. I yelled āexcuse meā several times, knocked on the office door, and tried everything I could to get someoneās attention. The front desk was completely unattended.
I walked around the building, came back in, and eventually saw the phone I had been callingāit was just sitting on a chair down the hallway, unanswered. Still trying to find help, I came across a room where a few kids were watching a movie. I asked if they knew who the owner was. One boy said it was his aunt and that she was outside.
So I go back outside and find a group of people casually hanging out and talking. I asked, āAre you the owner?ā One woman said, āYes, I am.ā I told her Iād been waiting at the front for over 10 minutes and asked if someone could assist me. She told me someone was in the ballroom and would be out in a minute.
I went back to the front desk again. Finally, a woman came up, and as she walked over, I overheard her telling someone, āI already told her Iād be with her in a minute.ā When I mentioned that I had been waiting over 10 minutes, she snapped, āYou were not waiting for 10 minutes. Iāve only been in the room for 9.ā Like she had a stopwatch or something.
So clearly, she heard me yelling earlierāand still ignored me.
Then, instead of apologizing or helping, she canceled my reservation entirely just because I had the nerve to complain that no one was doing their job.
I had been calm but firm the entire time, and I absolutely had a right to expect someoneāanyoneāto be at the front desk or at least answer the phone.
This place is disorganized, unprofessional, and flat-out rude. I do not recommend it to anyone looking for a decent place to stay or even basic...
Ā Ā Ā Read morefront desk staff was very kind, but that did not make up for the state of our rooms and the quality of our stay. as cheap as it was, i'd rather pay a whole thousand dollars more to never have to stay here again. we had ants all over our floor and the tables in our room as soon as we got there, our room was filled with construction issues like cracks in the floor and the crown molding, there were claw marks (???) in the jacuzzi, the "headboard" was just a piece of a headboard that wasn't even fully screwed into the wall and was swaying back and forth. we decided to sleep on the opposite side of the bed instead of risking getting our heads crushed in the middle of the night. upon inspection of the sheets we found multiple cigarette burns (we stayed in a non-smoking room) and some "personal fluid" permanent stains on our sheets that were really disgusting. we couldn't figure out how to turn off one of the lights in the "kitchen". there were wires that were just floating on one of the walls. we didn't book an executive room but were upgraded to one due to an issue with the rooms available and some maintenance work, which we were originally excited about, but then realized that "executive suite" was a misnomer and we were better off sleeping on a sidewalk outside. a waste of money and a frightening evening later, we skipped out on the rest of our reservation and booked a last minute room in a hotel down the street. the only upside of this hotel is that the a/c worked and LaShonda was very kind and welcoming. please do not spend your money here. i wouldn't wish this stay on my...
