McDonald's — Restaurant in Madison

Never had an issue until yesterday. I ordered a grilled chicken combo, drove home to eat, over 30 minute drive. Food was still warm. Opened my grilled chicken box, poured my fries in the empty side of the lid. Picked my sandwich up, took a bite or two. Ate some fries. Sat my sandwich down and saw what appeared to be a burned bit on the edge of my sandwich on the chicken that was exposed. Took my finger, and got it off. It looked funny though, didn't feel like a crispy burned piece. Examined the "lump", found out it was a fly that had been cooked onto my sandwich. Could still see the legs and a wing. I decided I couldn't eat my sandwich after that, took a pic of the fly and where I found it, threw my sandwich away. Decided to go ahead and eat my fries. Was munching on them, but I am on high alert after the fly. Notice something brown on my fry. Pick it up, and there's a bug cooked on to one of them as well! My coke was very carbonated as well, didn't taste like coke, but carbonated water mostly. I know things happen sometimes, it's summer, doors are opened and closed and bugs come in....but come on!! 2 bugs in my 8$ combo meal?!?! That's expensive to just have to put in the garbage. The staff was very nice that waited on us. We did get our orders quickly. I'm not complaining of them. But I probably will not eat...

i posted this on facebook but i thought i'd post here too.

i rarely go to mcdonald's because the lines are always crazy long whenever i find myself near. but i really felt a craving for my favorite mcdonald's breakfast, so i decided why not, i got nothing else to do today.

when i finally get up to the window(actually wasn't that long of a wait, i was quite surprised), i realized i didn't even bring my wallet! i was fully ready to just cancel my order, apologize and figure what to eat when i got home. but the lovely cashier covered it for me!!! ~$12!!!! this is what karma is about! i did the same when i worked at fast food, all the time. not only did it make everything go smoother, it made me feel better knowing i could help someone get their dinner for themselves or their family.

to the cashier who paid for my food, thank you for being a good soul! and thank you madison mcdonald's for being so efficient! even the mcdonald's i went to when i lived in indy couldn't compare! you guys...

Was in this location tonight, Ann's the fountain area was filthy. This restaurant is owned by a great man, and has a general manager who is extraordinary and her duties and has many years service to this restaurant, as well as several other McDonald's restaurants, so this is not typically the norm. I'm sure the general manager will immediately rectify this deficiency, but as I am a honest Google guide, I feel it necessary to let you know when something is wrong. The order that we placed was correct when we received it, and it had several items that were specialty. The food came out very promptly, so no problems with that either. The only thing I did feel that was kind of off, I felt like the buns may have been just a little bit too dried out or too stale, as they crumbled when everyone was eating their cheeseburgers. Again this is not usually the normal. I will post further reviews later on so as to honestly, and accurately, review...
