Finally ordered lunch for pick up from here, have been meaning to try it for a long time, and it did not disappoint!! I got my standard order, samosa chaat, daal, an garlic naan. The portion of samosa chaat was substantial, probably enough on it's own! But can't skip the garlic naan, which was perfectly grilled and perfectly garlicky. The person at the host stand was so lovely as well. I asked them if there were a lot of vegetarian items on the lunch buffet, she said yes and that I could go look, and pointed out an entire section. It probably would have been more economical for me to get the buffet than my order and maybe I will do that in the future. I appreciate that the vegetarian items are in their own section and clearly labeled. The atmosphere is totally fine, it is clean and well cared for, however a bit dated and the decor of the place that was there previously. I will definitely return for take out and or buffet, hopefully with my office mates. It was not very busy at noon on a weekday... we have a literal gem here - seriously...

Me being a carnivore American loved everything, from the chicken tiki masala to the mimosas that were top notch. Everything was fresh and abundant. Read a couple lesser reviews and obvious these peeps are clueless or just think too highly of themselves, ha. Mirch has a spicy chicken dish which was like an Indian kung pao, spicy and so good. The noodle dish was fantastic. Indian white rice and also a yummy tomato rice. Lots of other delicious dishes as well. Plenty to choose from, plenty of food, they were not low on anything, loved the naan and chutneys. Look, I love Swagat, Swad, Maharana, but for the price and the quality, combined with the selection, Mirch...
Read moreMirch Masala has the best Indian Food I have ever had and it is my favorite restaurant here in Madison. I have eagerly awaited their reopening since they moved from their State St location and I was happy to find their food to be just as high quality and delicious as it had been. My parents happened to be visiting when we went and they are not easy to please when it comes to Indian Food, but Mirch Masala more than earned their stamp of approval. I highly recommend the food here and look forward to my numerous visits...
