Seymour's Food Truck Halal — Restaurant in Madison

I recently had the opportunity to visit Seymour's food truck.

Before placing my order, I reviewed the menu online and took advantage of the first-order discount. I ultimately decided on the Asian wings with fries and a chicken empanada.

Upon taking the order home and sharing it with my partner, we found that the fries were cooked to perfection. However, the Asian wings had an off-putting flavor, as if the oil used to fry them had been previously used for fish. Additionally, the sauce lacked an authentic Asian taste, and could have benefited from the addition of a ginger sauce and scallions.

My primary concern was the taste of the chicken, which suggested that it had been fried in the same oil as fish. This could pose a significant risk to customers with seafood allergies or sensitivities. To ensure customer safety and satisfaction, it is essential that chicken be fried in separate oil to avoid any potential cross-contamination.

Despite this initial issue, I am eager to explore more of Seymour's food truck menu and will provide updated reviews...

A small business run by very kind and friendly folks. We were at gravity vault and decided to stop by Seymor food truck (parked in the 1 hr Modernizing dry cleaners parking lot) for lunch. A pretty good decision. We ordered the lobster roll, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, crab cake sandwich, and the lamb gyro. The food was delicious, but lets talk about The lobster roll as it was the most expensive. It was yummy! it has a delicious mix of coleslaw with Jalepeno with the lobster and the entire dish comes together perfectly. The bread used was thankfully not the regular hot dog roll generally used but a well baked roll which complimented the dish well. The dishes come with a side of salad and fries. The fries are crunchy while the salad wasn't just a bowl of greens, it was good mix of greens, grains with a light drizzle of home made dressing, different but delicious. Also hats off to them for using environmentally friendly carry out containers. Hopefully soon they can use compostable flat ware...

This is a hidden gem. Seymours Food Truck goes above and beyond in its food truck category with quality and flavors that are better than any established food franchise. The owner is a Navy veteran with one goal: to provide the best food experience ever and you will get nothing less than that.

This is an amazing place to eat, chat, and enjoy the best quality of food. I was surprised to receive a Chimichurri Steak Sandwich with all the flavors, high quality bread, and a delicious chimichurri sauce that will blow your mind.

Seymours Food Truck is a must stop if you want to enjoy a rich flavor experience that will leave you wanting to take a delicious sandwich home with you.

The good atmosphere, the chat with the owner and the quality of the food make this place unique, it is not just about eating, but a Complete Experience that helps you understand that in any corner of our neighborhoods we have people dedicated to providing the best so that one can enjoy it, not only as a business, but as a commitment to the community that what they cook is recommended for everyone for having the Best Quality, despite not being in an extravagant or expensive place.
