I'd never been here before and thought I'd give it a try. At Noon, all they had was donut holes and regular glazed donuts and some croissants that looked like they were made when they opened. I was browsing their menu and the woman at the counter said, "All we have is what is down here". I asked when they had the stuff that was on the menu and she said, "5am." She didn't even make eye contact and was rude and kept asking "What do you want" when I was still browsing. Told her I was good because I wasn't going to spend one dime in there. Terrible service and the stuff they had looked old and gross. Do not recommend.
(Edit for Owner's Comment) Your hours are 5a-2p. Being nearly completely out of selections 2 hours before close is unacceptable. These hours are listed on your door as well as Google. I asked different questions and was met with attitude each time. Sounds like you might've been there... Meaning you didn't correct it as it was happening. I wasn't even in there for more than one full minute... So the excuse that I was holding her up from kitchen duties is just a lazy excuse for poor service and management. Customers should never be an inconvenience seeing as that's how you keep a business open in the...
Read moreWe showed up around 10:30 so obviously the selection was quite small. We ordered two large kolaches (I dont know if they sell small ones or not but there were not any available), a blueberry cake donut, a creme filled éclaire, and a strawberry cream cheese pastry. The lady serving us threw in a free glazed donut and a handful of doughnut holes. The kolaches left something to be desired in the dough mix but overall were enjoyable. Can anybody make a blueberry cake donut wrong? The creme filled éclaire was not filled with creme after all, but with a sicky sweet cake icing that tasted like it was from a walmart shelf. The strawberry cream cheese pastry was quite enjoyable, and doesnt waver from its name. Would visit again and was pleased to find a doughnut shop of it's caliber...
Read moreMexand John were in town for lunch with family. Welllll we got to town way to early so went to Madison donuts to kill time. The selection left was slim but not their fault as it was already 11:30. So I got cream filled long John's and he got a strawberry creamcheese Danish. The owner was nice enough to throw in some donut holes. All was tasty and great price bit the donut holes were extremely good. I tool pics of the menu. If we come to town again I hope it is early enough to try other things as well. The only down side was limited seating and not fat girl friendly. Luckily I'm squishy and fit in the seat just looked a bit funny. The service was very good and food even better. Thank you for a great start...
