Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in Mahwah

So I usually share reviews with a picture, HOWEVER my food looked SO GOOD that taking a pic was THE FURTHEST THING from my mind! I just wanted, no NEEDED it in my belly!!! It was soo good!! I had the crispy chicken bacon sriracha ranch quesadilla, and first of all, that's a mouthful just to say lol but an even bigger mouthful to eat! chef's kiss My tummy was so happy after eating it! The staff there is amazing too! So friendly and inviting and very open to my corny jokes. They gave me a sample of their love chips, and I truly believe that whoever came up with the idea of that dish should get a Nobel Peace Prize! My ONLY qualm is that being that I'll be moving to Mahwah by the end of the month, my diet is about to take a HUGE hit 😂🥺 BUT the nice lady there made a good point, this place could be my cheat day reward! And i VERY MUCH like that idea!! I plan on trying EVERYTHING on the menu, AT LEAST once! My boyfriend ordered the steak and shrimp burrito and even though I don't like steak, I liked that burrito! So if they can make me like something that I don't normally like, they're magicians in my book! 10 outta 10...

I am changing my previously positive review to a poor experience with bad customer service. About 2 weeks ago I ordered a steak quesadilla, and when I got home I realized it only had cheese. It was so frustrating as I had cramps this day and it was also raining. While I was in the shop, I was instructed to take a seat while they prepped my order, so I did not watch to make sure they did it properly, as I was clearly audible with my verbalized order. This was not an over the phone order or anything. I came back 2 weeks later, hoping they would simply and easily fix the mistake by being courteous with offering a refund, or something to fix the issue to being provided something other than what I ordered, but instead, the female manager told me that there will be no refund because they charged me for the cheese quesadilla, even though it's not what I asked for. I have been here previous times and never had an issue, so why would you treat a loyal customer poorly? I know now to go to a different location or Chipotle exclusively in the future, despite the fact that this location is literally within 5 minutes...

I had yet to try bubbakoos as I would usually end up at Moes or Chipptle but I decided to finally give it a shot and they did not disappoint. First off I was greeted by Ethan who I felt went above and beyond to make my first experience at Bubbakoos a special one. Unsure of what to get I took Ethan’s recommendation of the taco trio with shredded chicken with corn pineapple and cheese with the sweet chili sauce. There are only a few moments in life where you wish you could relive your first bite over and over again and this was one of them. Ethan made sure to give me a fair portion of each ingredient just enough to be able to taste each individually while also feeling that perfect combination. I would suggest Bubbakoos Mahwah to anyone after this not only because of the delicious food but for the caring and dedicated staff at this establishment.
