I went into the UPS store 2 weeks ago to return several items to Amazon which I havenât done before. I walked in and there were 2 people at the counter helping people. There was 1 person that walked in after me and I let him go ahead of me since he was shipping 1 item and I was shipping 9. When it was my turn I went to the counter and told the woman that I was returning 9 items to Amazon and apologized in advance for the volume of items. She was incredibly rude and first asked me if I screen shotted the return barcodes. I told her I didnât and apologized because I wasnât aware I was supposed to. She kept rolling her eyes at me and said that because I wasnât prepared sheâd only allow me to do 3 at a time and would have to make me wait while she took other customers who were. I turned and looked behind me and there was 1 person waiting and the other employee took them before I was done with my first 3. She looked behind me and said that she guessed she could do another 3 since there was no one waiting. Amazon also told me I didnât need to purchase packaging or pay for returning items. The women said that I had to purchase a box for an item that did not come in a box. I just said ok thanked her and she didnât even respond as I left. I understand there is a pandemic and that being customer facing is difficult as I have worked customer facing through the entire pandemic and have NEVER been so rude to anyone.    Read moreItâs an unlucky day if you have the Indian lady UPS worker working there that day. She will tell you your crazy, your package which says it it was 100% delivered days ago is not there. You will come back twice after confirming with customer support that the package is there. She will tell you that she searched the whole store for days and just minutes ago checked and it wasnât there. You need that package that very night and will lose your patience, go behind the counter, and see you packages sitting with your box number in open view. She will tell you: go get another UPS store box, donât come to this UPS anymore, we donât want you, that sheâs tired, that she doesnât want to be here, that it is your fault for not coming for the package the very hour it was delivered. That she has better. things to do. That there is something wrong with you for grabbing your own package that she lied twice about and refused to give to you. This lady is ruining your business. I requested approximately 14 inches of tape to seal the box, and the clerk informed me that there would be a $2.00 charge for such a small amount. I felt this charge was excessive and expressed my concern. At that point, the store manager, who has a beard, approached me. Unfortunately, his response was not only dismissive but also quite rude. He stated that the store was not a charity and that they were in business to make a profit. His words and demeanor were unprofessional and left me feeling disrespected as a customer. Due to this experience, I have decided that neither I nor my friends will be returning to this store in the future.
