CHIBAB CHICKEN (Korean Fried Chicken & Korean Food) (치밥 치킨) — Restaurant in Maine Township

This restaurant replaced the old restaurant that used to be My My Chicken or something like that. It’s located next to Woori Village. Enormous parking lot. There were plenty of tables to eat at. You walk in, find a table, and then you order at the register. They have more selections at the counter or you can look on their website. Their menu is very extensive. The small bowls, silverware, napkins, etc are all self-serve. It’s a mom and pop shop, I believe the husband is in the kitchen cooking, and the wife handles the front. The wife was very pleasant and helpful. We got a good amount of items for two people. The wings had a lot of meat on them, so I took pictures to support my review. Prices were standard. Overall, it’s a 4.5 for me but since they’re a newly opened mom and pop shop, I’ll round it to 5.

-fried thin crust rice - 3 - these tasted more like snacks so I think $6 might be too much. My gf wanted this so I didn’t look up the pictures beforehand. -cheese balls - 5 piece - 5/5 - I love that cheese pull when you bite into it. The cheese balls were hot and had a soft texture. It’s kind of like a Korean version of mozzarella sticks, except they’re round and have a powdered cheese exterior. -k-golden fried chicken wings - 8 pieces - 5/5 - crispy skin, succulent meat, adequate amount of meat on the flats and drums. -sweet chili chicken wings - 8 pieces - 5/5 - not spicy, very mild kick. New - MUST TRY - Korean Fried Chicken and much more!!! My husband and I went to the very first full day of Chibab Chicken being open and wow was it amazing!!! The restaurant inside is super clean and open with plenty of seating. They feature several varieties of Korean fried chicken plus lots of other Korean favorites. We had the Boneless Gold Cheese Chicken which was large enough to share. It had the perfect amount of breading. It was super crispy, perfectly tender and had a nice cheesy coating. The owner was so nice. She brought us a sample of her mom's special recipe jalapenos which were full of amazing flavor. They went great with the chicken. Fried Nurungji (crispy thin crust rice with cheese)was awesome and their Corn Cheese is some of the best I have ever had! Their K-Pickled Radish was a perfect palate cleanser and the Crinkle Cut Fries were crispy and tasty. We will definitely be back to try many of the other menu items!! We are looking...

I don’t normally feel the need to leave reviews so this might be my very first ever— I found this to be one of the best (if not THE best) restaurant that I have ever been to! When I walked in, the atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable and as soon as I saw Jungkook on the tv I knew this was going to be a very good dining experience. We were greeted and seated instantly, and our food arrived shortly after ordering. The dishes were beyond delectable (I write this as we’re finishing the chicken we took to-go) and the staff were very amiable as they continued to check in on us, even offering dumplings on the house! I recommend the K-Classic Spicy chicken as well as the pickled radish but that’s not to say everything we ate wasn’t of note. We were in the area after our trip to Chicago and we’re sad we won’t be able to visit as often as we would like 👎 We’ll see you soon...
