Really not happy right now, and still without a phone. I went in a few days ago to pay out of pocket for a screen replacement on my Galaxy S22. The parts were not in stock and needed to be ordered. I got a call today that they have the parts to perform the service and the repair will take a few hours. I got there around 1:30 PM. The tech received my phone and said that it will be ready by 4:30 PM today. After not hearing anything after 5PM, I decided to drive over to the store so I can get there before closing time at 6PM. When I arrived, the girl came out from the back and said that she is calibrating the phone and it will be ready in 10-15 minutes. Around 10 minutes later, she comes back and says that some diagnostic test with my camera was failing, and nonchalantly started telling me to just call them tomorrow when they open so they can tell me then if there were able to resolve this issue. Mind you, they open at 10 AM. I ask what does a camera diagnostic have to do with my screen replacement, as the camera was perfectly fine when I dropped off the phone... and proceeded to tell her that this phone is tied to my work applications, banking, etc and I can't just leave it with them overnight and hope for the best. I needed my phone back tonight as I need it for work in the morning, and to just do life this evening as I don't even have an alternate way of communication. She went back to talk to her "manager"... and this is when the customer service really shined. Without her even finishing her question to him, this "manager" just started saying NOPE... NOPE... NOPE... in a really condescending tone within complete earshot of me, and completely dismissed my plea for MY phone back. I was told that their hands are tied due to some "company policy" which was never explained to me - and that I can try to CALL THEM (with what phone?) in the morning (when they finally show up at 10 AM) to see if they were even able to complete the job. So for the grand total of $360 out of pocket, I got my phone hijacked by this store for what will be almost 24 hours and completely blown off my the staff and "manager" like they couldn't care less about how big of a problem and serious inconvenience this whole situation is for me. At the time of this review, they still have possession of my phone after they sent me away, and I don't have any assurance that it will even be fixed tomorrow. Would I recommend this store to anyone,...

And the part of the charger that connects to your phone you have to lean against some object, put another object with a little weight (just the right amount) on top of that to keep the chord slightly bentāand that crazy method is not working so well any more either⦠Well my phone died and my stupid phone charging tricks came to an end. I took my first trip over to ubreakifix. Expected to be without a phone for maybe at least a couple days. They took the phone in the back right away, looked at it, cleaned it. I had it back in 15 minutes. Didnāt need a new port like I thought I would. Just needed a good cleaning on the inside. Charges like new. Thatās honesty and integrity right there. The guys working there are super-helpful and patient. When I got there there was a customer before me who had a bigger issue with his phone than I did. I pay attention to how people do their jobs even when Iām not the one being helped. Cameron, the guy helping this customer (and who helped me), had an exceptional manner about how he took care of this customer. He was the same way with me and my phone issue. I appreciate that kind of customer service! Excellent. There was another guy working there who came out afterward as well. Same thing. Andā¦the cost was very reasonable. Exceptional customer service + fast + reasonably priced. If I have any more tech-stuff issues with anything, Iāll be going back there. Ubreakifix will be my recommendation for other people, as well.
Thank you, Cameron, and other dude...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased a Galaxy S9 Plus and made a mistake by not buying a phone cover. I ended up dropping my new phone and cracking the screen. I rushed to the same phone store, hoping they would replace/fix my phone because I have insurance on my phone... unfortunately, the phone carrier told me I could pay a deductible and then wait for the phone carrier to send me a refurbished phone.. I did not want to pay an extra $300 and receive a refurbished phone, so I decided to look for other options.
I looked for stores that fix phone screens. I called a few places but no one was affiliated with Samsung and the prices were insane. Luckily, my boyfriend found uBreakiFix phone repair store in Niles.
As soon as we walked into the uBreakiFix store, we were greeted by a very professional employee, Ray. Ray was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to have my phone fixed in just a few hours. Ray was very kind, professional and made me feel very welcomed. The store has amazing employees with excellent customer service because Ray was so helpful and his manager (unfortunately, forgot to ask for the manager's name) also came out of the back and introduced himself.
If you have made a mistake and need to get your phone fixed, do not wait, please go to uBreakiFix because you will have a great experience and you will not have to spend as much money as you would if you went to another repair store. If you will get lucky, you will get a chance to work with Ray and experience excellent and professional customer service. Thank you, Ray and uBreakiFix for making me a very...
