I came to buy an 8ā cake and I shouldāve known when I saw the only 2 options they had. One of them had dark red strawberries on top as if itās been sitting there too long so I really had no choice but the other one. Paid for it and he says to wait so he can box it up. No problem. I am the only one in there and I stand there for a good 10-15 minutes so I go over and look at what heās doing and he is clearly having trouble assembling the box. I give him the benefit of the doubt and I go to the bathroom. I come back and the box is in the bag on the counter ready for me. I look inside the box to confirm the cake is okay but I am not surprised to see a whole dent where the blueberry was as if he dipped his finger in it. (He is also not wearing gloves which makes me nervous since heās handling food) I am trying to be nice at this point so I ask if he has other 8ā cakes in the back somewhere. He says no. I shouldāve just got my refund and went to Tour Les jour 5 minutes away and gotten a better cake. But I didnāt. So itās fine, I tell him. I say Iāll just take one of the smaller cakes and he can refund me the difference. But he doesnāt. He charges me for the smaller cake and I ask if Iām getting a refund for the first cake, which he says I am. So he walks away⦠and I am confused so I ask where the receipt is for the refund and he says Iāll know when I get it!!! UGH at this point I am ready to write this review. He ends up printing my receipt and heās angry. But why are you okay with giving me a ruined cake? Iāve posted a picture of the cake I went home with..it is extremely basic. Now I know why this place is empty on a fine evening. I will not...

I witnessed the barista scoop coffee from a clearly labeled Folgers canister to fill the portafilter basket before pulling a shot for my espresso/latte. You 100% carry Folgers - your barista made my latte with it. I saw it with my own two eyes. If you're unaware of this fact, you've just been informed. I have no reason to lie. Thank you.
Original: I can't rate the food but my experience with their coffee was awful. They literally charge over $5 for Folgers. After waiting about 45 mins for them to pull a shot with said coffee/latte, I found a foreign object in my drink; pulled a piece of plastic out of my mouth. So disgustingly disappointed and will never return, even if the baked goods are as good as people rate them to be... Thought I was supporting a local establishment (which I absolutely love doing) but left feeling disgusted and robbed. On a positive note, the place was booming with business for their baked goods and there's...

(In reply to Response from owner's "We appreciate your feedback on both our strengths and areas for improvement": neither the stars nor the food review mean that improvement is needed. They merely note that some people may not be used to the milder flavors of Korean cakes, compared to, for example, Greek ones.)
Service 5/5: Quiet, respectful and reserved. One just can't complain about the service here!
Atmosphere 4/5: Clean and quiet with ample parking outside and goods for sale laid out...
