I had great customer service. My cashier was really nice. However, there was a customer in front of me who was angry claiming the cashier was just talking to a coworker when everyone could see she was ringing a big transaction. The woman in front of me was highly disrespectful to the cashiers, and took pictures of them which is absurd. She then made the girl checking her out scan all her times then said "I don't want any of this. See how I wasted your time, like you were wasting mine." The cashier was just doing her job, and it wasn't her fault that she was the only one up front at the time. She could only check one person out at a time. Despite being berated by this woman, and a photo taken of her, the cashier was still very kind, and respectful. She put on a smile and was very sweet to us, but we could tell that, that woman clearly left an effect on her. Burlington should not service people like that customer. Read moreThis store has always been great until last night. We were purchasing several items that contained hangers. As we placed the items on the counter, Vanessa our cashier, was clearly upset we didn't remove the hangers. She slammed them down at us on the counter by the register like we were inconveniencing her. After removing the security tag, you tumbled the coat for was way too long before figuring out how to get it into a bag.
Next you pick up a jersey and start your tumbling routine again. Clearly you looked confused so we pointed out the tag was on the left sleeve. I lost my temper with you after you rolled your eyes at us, looked at your co worker and smirked about it.
Clearly customer service is not a skill either of you posses. Neither of you belong in a customer facing environment and I hope Burlington provides the training you need for your jobs.
Assuming they already have, you both need to go back and train several more times before helping customers.
