Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Maine Township

I stopped by Charley’s Cheesesteaks inside Walmart after grocery shopping because we were starving, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! They actually have a veggie sandwich, and it’s phenomenal. It’s packed with sautéed mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers, loaded with cheese, and topped with all the good stuff—lettuce, tomato, onion, and all the condiments. The sandwich was super flavorful and satisfying, especially for the price.

We also got a side of fries, and they were great—fresh and crispy. We got a medium and split it between two people, and it was the perfect amount. They’ve got a bunch of other stuff too, like mozzarella sticks and onion rings, which I didn’t try this time but definitely will in the future.

Overall, I’m really happy they had a solid vegetarian option. The food was tasty, and it hit the spot after shopping. Definitely worth a stop if you’re craving something quick...

Amazing food! Prepped fresh and full of flavor. We happened to pass by for a sample of Philly cheesesteak and my child loved it. (And she is a picky eater) I ordered her the Philly cheesesteak and I had The Old School cheesesteak. Wow! It was mouthwatering delicious. (My 1st time eating cheesesteak and so was my child) We had it as a combo with fries and a drink. Let me say that their fruit lemonade drinks are amazing! My child had strawberry and I had mango. They come with fruit pieces for more flavor. But, by far the peach was my favorite. Staff were friendly and courteous, they topped the service by offering my child an ice cream cone. Went to Walmart to just buy regular stuff and got stopped by how amazing this place smelled. I figured my husband and I give it a try. Was there 10/10/24 at about 3pm. The young woman at the counter was extremely nice, friendly and polite. I was almost thrown off because I don’t remember the last time I got exceptional customer service like that. From ordering to handing me our bag of food she was insanely nice and smiled the entire time. This company was lucky to hire such friendly staff! I regret not getting her name.
