Evan's was our first order using GrubHub+ and it went well. I ordered the Greek chicken and it was very good. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Best Greek chicken I've had in a long time. Fries were plentiful and crispy. Coleslaw was good but way too much mayo. She loved her chicken souvlaki plate. I was hoping for a taste but it disappeared before I could get a bite. She didn't really care for the baklava cheesecake but I really enjoyed it. Nice combination of two great deserts, especially when you bite into the flaky phyllo dough. Prices aren't bad. I can't speak for the atmosphere or staff, but I will be checking them out in the future. Thumbs up for the GrubHub driver though. We tried Evan's again and she stuck with the chicken souvlaki. I tried the pork version and it was even better than the Greek chicken.

Stopped in at this venue at the beginning of March after picking up my stepdaughter at O'Hare on her 1st day of spring break from college. It was a Friday late afternoon/early evening and exploratory me wanted to try something on the way home not far from the airport so Evan's Place it was. I wouldn't necessarily say the food is something to write home about but the Chicago/Greek grill has some decent bites at fair prices in a spacious and actually quite remarkable dining area. Not sure if she's one of the owners or owner but the lady at the counter was very friendly. I'm a sucker for gyros and they're decent here. I've always strived to support local and wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

Evan's is a local restaurant in Des Plaines, and I had forgotten how good it was. I had gone to Evans so much with my family as a young kid, and had not gone back in a few years. It just sort of left my mind, and I never really considered going there. Last week, I realized I hadn't gone there in so long. Now, I regret not going back for so long. The food was that good. I got the greek chicken with greek potatoes, and everything was so fresh, warm, and full of flavor. The inside of the restaurant is rather bland and uneventful, but it is comfertable and clean. The person who took my order was kind and I appreciated their effort to assure my satisfaction.
