During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying three flavors: cheesecake, Oreo, and crème. And boy, were they a revelation! The cheesecake flavor was like taking a spoonful of real cheesecake but in frozen form. It had that unmistakable tanginess and creamy texture that left me craving for more. The Oreo flavor was a chocolatey dream come true, with generous chunks of Oreo cookies swirled into the velvety ice cream. As for the crème flavor, it was a classic yet extraordinary treat that felt like tasting frozen clouds of pure bliss.

One thing that truly stood out was the undeniable freshness of the ice cream. You can feel that it's made with love and care, using high-quality ingredients to create a product that transcends the ordinary.

On my way out, I couldn't resist taking home a couple of coconut sticks. Let me tell you, it was the best decision ever! The coconut sticks were a revelation in themselves—crunchy on the outside, and delightfully moist and flavorful on the inside, with a generous coating of coconut flakes. It was the ideal ending to an already remarkable ice cream adventure.

La Michoacána Ice Cream Shop has officially earned a place in my heart and my list of favorite dessert spots. UPDATE: went into the Michoacana today and I'm unsure if management has changed; however, workers surely have and not for the best either. Management has cut costs and now use nibblets for corn in a cup, rather than cutting it off the cob. While some can taste the difference, and others won't mind; I mind! The flavorful taste is different, and more juice from the corn is added when they use nibblets and is watered down, in my opinion. I drive 20 min. Just to cone to this location; I don't think I will bother anymore.

Today (3/5), I called over the phone to place an order, I was greeted  by Ryan.He pleasantly took my order over the phone and upon asking for 2 elotes he informed me politely that elotes were close to done; however, he could fulfill 1 corn (to which I agreed, as I called in the order very close to their closing time). Then I asked about 2 small yogurts to which he informed me that the Thursday special was medium size yogurts for the price of a small (I've been to this location multiple times and I've never been informed about any specials). Upon walking in, a very happy Ryan greeted me. He was tending to a customer and took care of them and promptly directed his attention to me, in which he questioned if I was picking up. Ryan surprisingly informed me he was able to fulfill my original request for 2 elotes, to which I was very happy with. Unfortunatley my yogurt fell, but rest assured Ryan made it right. Ryan, thank you so much for the quality customer service, being super informative about specials, and for providing quality customer service. I hope that your drive for professionalism never decreases. I will continue to come to this location as its hard to come across locations that have great employees like Ryan. Thank you again, all my snacks were perfect! This is definitely someone that has quality leadership abilities and goes above and beyond to meet the customers...

This snack shop initially had the worse service ever, there were two women that would slam or throw at your products if something had bothered them. On several occasions I witnessed employees had heated arguments with customers and the reviews reflected exactly type of disrespect, messing service these ladies provided. This went on for a while until my friend Kenia( no longer an employee at this point) started working at this place, not only adequately prepared snacks, also trained the rest of employees the same as well offered a professional service. Reason for which I resumed my visits as a regular customer. 7/15 Daily I come in to get fresh green juice, today while picking up my order. The owner Josue joked with me a bit while Janet was handing me my juice. I walked out right away without paying. A couple minutes returned to pay for it, now the owner is facing the wall next to a new employee while expressing himself in an ill, disrespectful manner about my character as a person. To which Janet warned him that I was listening to his poisonous, distasteful speech. He turned around to tell me that I used to have a “bitchy attitude” to him saying to it made better or justifiable. No wonder he had such a bad employees and service. The bad employees are gone but the unprofessional was left behind, the owner. A couple of weeks ago he mentioned that there a few reviews claiming employees to have had been treated in a discriminatory manner. Well, I can assure, attest that he sure that Harassment is included on the menu. Let’s hope that he invests in educating himself, it might be beneficial, to improve his ability to deal clientele effectively, and professionally managing his business. Additionally, learning to be accountable for the negative reviews people posts instead of blaming their customers that for almost a decade now has put food...
