Wendy's — Restaurant in Maine Township

BEWARE!! Just went through the DT here on my way home and ordered two small chili's and a 4 piece nugget and realized as I was looking at the screen that there were additional items (Jr cheese burger, Jr fries, drink etc) that I didn't order and he added shredded cheese/onions and two packets of sour cream that I asked for but no chili or nuggets? I asked the boy about it and he said that was the previous person's order (even though I could clearly see him add the cheese, onions and sour cream to the random burger he had there, live as he did it), so I asked if I could see my order on the screen please (for all of the intended purposes that the screen break down is supposed to be there to begin with) and he told me "uhhhh I can't manually put it up there" and the screen changed to a default wendys screen saver banner...... not sure how you can't put my order on the screen even though I clearly just saw the "previous person's" order? But according to him I it was not possible to see my own. I found that very very odd. I asked him my total (since it wasn't possible to see it on the screen) and he said it was $11+ which sounded higher than it should be, so I again asked if I could see my itemized order and total on the screen, which is when a second voice (female and not polite) interrupted over the speaker and told me to go to the first window. The whole interaction was very weird and off putting, I've never been told that it isn't possible to see my own order and total in a DT. Anyway, I left and went to the Wendy's on Oakton in Des Plaines as it's only a block passed my house, I was able to see my own order (not someone elses) and my total on the screen. Best part is my total was only $10.51 which is LESS than what I was told at this...

I love Wendy's. But this review needs to be done. I have been coming to this location for 6 years. I have no other choice This is the only location before I get onto the highway.

I go exclusively through the drive-thru but today I decided to go in for a dine-in experience just to see if it was equally horrible. It was. The overall staff is great it's just one individual.

The woman that works the drive-thru window has never once been cordial to me when I pick up my food. I kill her with kindness every time. More than half the time I have to sit there until she comes to the window again because she refuses to put napkins in my bag. I always have to ask for them.

She is the most incredibly rude person I've ever met. Today was no different. I ordered my food. Everything that comes out of her mouth is incredibly cold. I'm not a sensitive individual but there's some basic elements to customer service that go a long way.

I don't know her name. The last thing I want to do is identify her in the easiest way possible because it would appear inappropriate. Today is my last time eating here. As I sit here doing this review I can still hear her being incredibly rude to almost every single customer that comes to the cash register. So far it's been four.

I know culturally different dialects come across different ways, maybe speaking loudly is part of the dialect I get it. But the consistent looks of disdain when you question an order, or the inability to even address you like a person...

Very upset with this wendys, I came here all the time before but it's genuinely so bad now. Incredibly horrible service, I asked for a meal that was on the menu and the worker gave me the nastiest look telling me they don't sell that and I don't know what I'm talking about, even though I said it very clearly and showed the menu. After about 5 minutes I heard a worker tell her they do sell it and it's on the menu and she just yelled me over. Not only that but I also politely asked like three times for a frosty that I ordered which she didn't give me and the worker lady just looked at me, rolled her eyes, and completely ignored me. They also put locks on the bathroom doors, closed of half the dining area for no reason (no dirt no spills, nothing was wrong). Like a month before this all the teenagers who were quietly eating and talking amongst themselves were kicked out even though they were not done with food into the cold just because one group of friends was being loud (they could have just kicked the loud ones out and left alone the normal ones?) I just watched in shock, and when asked what was wrong with them they just kept repeating "manager said so" "because we can". This is absolutely disrespectful and disgusting behavior, not only is their costumer service horrible, their food isn't even that well made. Would...
