The walk-on was very nice our server was very attentive never let my glass get empty I should have started with the ambiance the decor well to tell you the truth I didn't get much of it we walked through the restaurant to go to the balcony area and that was very nice outside even though you could see inside through the glass I didn't pay much attention to the inside I was more concerned with my company and my food. I had a humongous rap I don't know which one it was but it was very good I almost couldn't finish it so I think it's the food is it tasted good it looked good and I think it's worth the money a few of my companions complained about the spiciness of the food but I found it to be very tame are very mild. Sitting out on the balcony was very nice very pleasant although someone nearby was running their weed eater and it did start to rain while I was there and there was a little lightning which frightened some of my friends. Most important thing was the service and the food to me the service was great as I said he was very attentive I think his name was Dennis there was about 23 of us and he did a good job of keeping us happy and feeding us in a timely manner although I know he doesn't have much to do with the time because it's the kitchen that you know has to cook the food but anyway he was very good you know keeping us watered, would 23 people to keep happy it's not easy. What was supposed to be hot on my plate was hot and what was supposed to be cold or room temperature was nicely chilled. I requested a cola, and you know a cola. I will return there one day handicap parking was available and there was plenty of parking spaces. The music was not too loud, and I want to say that it covered a wide range of styles music styles. It is located on the northeast side of town which is just fine unless you...
Read moreOn our first visit we ordered an appetizer ( croquettes), Caesar salad , a NY steak with vegetables, and a fish and chips entree. The food was amazing but the reason why it’s only 2 stars because the service was truly one of the worst experiences my husband and I experienced in Orlando. I’m not sure if our waiter was the son of management or what. We waited for our food, at least or appetizers for over 20 mins or more. So essentially All our food was brought out at the same time. The sprite was kinda flat, so I asked for a coke, and he just never brought it. I asked for ketchup and they never brought it but could see a ketchup bottle nearby and just got it myself. I used to be a waitress so I know it can be chaotic at times, but they were not that busy and he walked by our table several times, looked at our food, and just kept walking by. We wanted to order. Desert but figured it be too long to get any ones attention without having to hunt them down to ask for our food. Had to find them for our check and be able to leave. We only live a mile away so we were truly excited to go, but unfortunately, that experience despite the good food, was enough to not...
Read moreThis place has a certain nostalgia for me. It was where I had my first beer, a Guinness, almost 14 years ago. It has since closed and reopened. It still has great atmosphere, being an authentic Irish pub that was disassembled in Ireland and reassembled here. It is, by far, the best watering hole close to where I work, and the Guinness pours true. But it also is definitely not a local pub because it has to cater to business travelers. The food is good, but best described as "Irishy" and a bit on the pricey side. Most nights it's fairly quiet, but recently I tried to pop in for a pint and waived off because there were TWO BUSLOADS of polo-clad middle-aged men in the place. I recommend it, but go in knowing what it is.
UPDATE 10/20/16: Still coming occasionally after work. Still a good place to come. Pleasantly surprised to have live music tonight. I see Debbie gets a lot of kudos in the reviews, but the other barkeeps do a great job, too. Daniella took care of me tonight, and she remembered what I order even though it's been a couple of months since...
