Vinnie's Pizza — Restaurant in Malden

My Family was one of their first customers. I understand Dom isn’t involved anymore, but Vinnie still runs the kitchen. This place was EVERYTHING when I was a kid. They opened when I was 9, and were a major part of my life and the lives of all my siblings and friends, until I moved to the city in 2010. While I’m sad Dom, who was the face of the locale, isn’t involved, anything Vinnie makes is absolute gold. The quality of the food, and old-world love Vinnie has for his craft, is not only exceptional, but a source of nostalgic comfort food for old-school North Shore residents. This place has been here for years and although Dom doesn't own it anymore, his dad Vinnie still works there, and they never changed recipes, still making they best slice of pizza in all of Massachusetts, no kidding I love there slices, there pizza is the bomb too, but for whatever reason there slices are even better, but there subs are they best from New England not just Massachusetts, they legit have they best bread ever, just wish there was more steak in the steak and cheese, even with that said itbis my go to place for they best steak and cheese ever, try it if tou haven't you won't be disappointed.. Pizza by the slice is about average quality for the Boston area, but it reminds me of my childhood pizza moreso than other slices do for some reason, though it is of course better, with a better texture from the oven. Available is cheese and pepperoni slices, and the pepperoni slice is made by just putting some pepperonis on a cheese slice before putting it in the oven. Value is above average, but not as good as the nearby New York Pizza (quality is slightly higher though). Definitely don't go out of your way to get Vinnie's Pizza by the slice, but if you're hungry, it's not a bad...
