Al's Luncheonette — Restaurant in Manalapan Township

Creepy Uncle Dave here. This place never disappoints. I’ve been here many times but this was the first time I’ve been here for diner. This is not a white tablecloth establishment but it definitely gives you a homey feel. My boss once said that the best way to keep employees coming to work is to make them feel at home. I said to him that if he wanted me to feel at home he would need to pay me more. So I call out the sick the rest of the week. It felt like the right thing to do at the time. Anyway, I ordered cup of chicken soup that hit the spot on this chilly fall evening and the Al’s Chicken Sandwich with fries, coleslaw and a pickle. Gotta have the pickle! I definitely enjoyed this sandwich. It was a piece of fried chicken coated in buffalo sauce topped with lettuce and blue cheese dressing all served on a sub roll. That would be a hero for the transplants reading this. The whole time I was there the waiter was friendly and welcoming. This quality is lost in a lot of the big chain restaurants. I will definitely be back to try one of their taco dishes and admire the Velvet Elvis hanging on the wall. I like this place and think you will too. Tell them I sent...

Where do I even begin? The food here is immaculate. I have tried almost every dish, and every single one was incredible. My favorite is the Chicken Avacado Panini. The service is incredible as well. The waitress is the most sweet lady and even remembers what people's usuals are. She is awesome. I always feel welcomed and the whole place is cozy. This is my go to place for when Im having a bad day or when I want to have a great time with my friends and family. Their quality control is also amazing, each time I come, I get a meal that was prepared amazingly. Well done Al's, I will keep coming back for more...

Horrible Horrible customer service. If i can give them no stars i would... they continuously mess up orders every time we order.. Instead of getting to the bottom of why the person taking the orders cant seem to get it right they back lashes at the customers and ask why do we keep ordering. I will take my business else where. If I have to bash them every day on Google I will.. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM THEY WILL MESS UP YOUR ORDER OR BETTER YET CONSTANTLY FORGET THE CHEESE AND BLAME YOU.
