Lorena's Deli — Restaurant in Manassas

OMG! This place is a MUST. The atmosphere is calm and when you walk you smell the amazing food in the back. The woman that helped my Fiancé and I was so sweet. Not only did she answer all the questions we had about the menu she made plesant small talk with us. She made our experience lovely. Qualify of food: This is the first time I've ordered a Chimichanga, Pupusas, and Yuca and ALL of them were cooked to perfection. I am very happy b/c this is a solid foodie spot but a little sad that they are far from me. Well, I guess I could make an excuse just visit just for their yummy food. I read some of the low star reviews but it seemed those people dont 1. have socail skills 2. Know how to be ask a question and 3. Seem very entitled. Please disregard those fools this place is AMAZING. I'm happy we decided to try this restaurant. They deserve 10 stars. It's homey, the have excellent customer service and for the first time I've finally found a place that knows how to prepare yuca PROPERLY 🥰. The picture is from my fiancé's chimichanga meal, (we got it to go). He was so excited he already started eating before I could take a pick. Also! Their sauces are way different but they are better full of flavor and ughhh 😍 I could keep going on and on just go don't walk to this...

I came here and tried to order breakfast. Carlos was really nice at first, but as soon as he saw me pull my company American Express card out of my wallet to pay, he rudely informed me that they don't take Amex. I asked him to confirm that they didn't take Amex to make sure I heard him correctly and he silently shook his head "no" with a very hostile look on his face. It was like he took it personally that I intended to pay with an Amex, which was extremely bizarre to me and unwarranted considering I was nothing but polite to him. For establishments that don't take Amex, I normally pay for meals with my personal Visa and submit receipts to work for reimbursement. If Carlos had politely informed me they didn't take Amex then I would have done this, but his unreasonably unprovoked bad attitude cost them my business....

This is a wonderful family owned restaurant where the whole family works together to make all the food from scratch. No Frozen or processed food is ever served here. All the items on the menu are wonderful and usually you receive more than you can finish. If you have a picky eater you can request something that's not on the menu and they will do their best to accommodate you. They also will provide large quantities of food for parties if requested in advance and they have a food truck that they can bring to your function and serve hot food right from the truck.

The decor is simple but always clean and friendly. I highly recommend you stopped in when you're out on your next shopping Adventure. If you prefer to use the food truck you will find it located on Sudley Roadat the Hess...
