Vocelli Pizza — Restaurant in Manassas

This review is both for excellent customer service and food.

Last Saturday I placed an order through the Web Portal and either through my own error, a disconnect in how their portal is designed, or human error on their end, the pizza I got wasn't right. I called them about it and the guy on the other end was saying things as though "Well that's what the receipt said..." I told him that I wouldn't have called him if it wasn't right and he could keep my business or he couldn't; as though getting the wrong pizza was a mistake I just had to deal with. However, he took my order and about 45 minutes later, a new pizza was at my door, this time it was made correctly, but almost very intentionally cooked too long. However, I'd been waiting an hour and a half for dinner at that point, so I just sucked it up and ate it - thinking I hadn't been charged.

However, I woke up the next morning and to my dismay, my card had been charged for the overdone pizza, the gentleman on the other end of the line also didn't use the coupon I told him I used (after he asked for it!)

I called and spoke to the manager on a Monday morning and he was nothing but completely and totally understanding of the situation. He refunded not one, but both of my orders (including tips) without fuss or debate. Clearly, this store is managed well as he was intent on keeping my business. Save for this one experience, which has been more than properly rectified, Vocelli's has been nothing except wonderful. Highly...

So I guess your employees don't know a thing. Called to ask a question about if your pizza contains sunflower oil or black pepper, as we have a family member with allergies and the employee said yes, that your pizza contains these two things. When I inquires to make sure it contain sunflower oil, he say yes again, but then he said they don't make the sauce on the premises. So I asked if he was going to help me and he said the manager ans owner were not there. Then he said I could call back if I want in 10 min and he would try to check and see if it contained those ingredients. Really, is this job that hard? That you can't answer an allergy question? You can't even just see if there is a list of ingredients? Very frustrating as I'm trying to get dinner for my family and it's so nice to he given the shaft based on allergies. It might help some people to get their heads out of their dark and remote places to know that some people with allergies have significant disabilities and when you deny them, you are adding to their difficulty and their parents' painstaking attempts at helping their child lead a normal life. If you want delivery, look somewhere else. We've ordered here 3 different times and Everytime there has been wrong orders or mistakes on our food. Close to good, but falls short as a traditional pizza delivery place. Our last order was not only incorrect, it wasn't even cut . We called to let the staff they must have mixed our order. They offered to replace the pizza (very appreciative) but we'd have to wait another hour. That was 2 hours total for a hungry family. The wings are great, but we'll be taking our delivery...
