As a recent ex McDonald’s employee, I’ll answer your guys complaints to hopefully show you why things are the way they are. At midnight, till 6 am, it’s night shift. There is always only about 3 people working considering it’s midnight and the demand is not as high. At midnight, we do a cash only period, the registers need to be checked, the computers rebooted and saved, and the store cleaned and stocked. So yes they can not use your card and that is stated before ordering, and yes the system is down as necessary so they can not apply coupons or online orders. That’s what happens in a 24 hour store to keep it orderly and clean. Waiting 10 minutes, from pulling to the drive threw, in a large line of cars, to getting your freshly made food, is not long and is fast food. I can’t speak for everyone, but I know that when you order “freshly right-this—second-made fries with extra salt, extra crispy, 20 burgers with Mac sauce and lettuce just now pulled from the fridge, double packed, double packaged, with every sauce you guys have” it’s gonna take 10 minutes to make your order🤷♀️. We legally can not take your order or cash you out on someone else’s drawer, (cash register) so if it looks like a drive threw employee is ignoring you, they’re not and they’re embarrassed as well, but they can not take your order at the counter on a nother employees drawer. If an employee spills the drink they’re getting someone and has to start over, they’re not clumsy or messy, they’re human. As an inside employee, I thought the worst coming into this job, and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything is new, clean, and taken care of, most of the employees are new, and improved, even the general manager is relatively new. They’re working so hard to raise mc Donald’s standards, so if it adds on an extra 2 minutes of your day, go somewhere else. There will always be those few horrible, rude, lazy, and messy employees, but most of them are trying so incredibly hard to make your day and keep...
Read moreThe drive thru is painfully slow, one would think when you received your food, it would be flawless. Absolutely not the case. The condiments are sparse, and some are even missing on sandwiches. Either there is a shortage of condiments over there, or the employees are not being trained properly.
My experience with going in for food, was also terrible. I was getting it to go, as the drive thru line was long, and I know how slow it is here. I was not greeted, I walked into the restaurant, with the employe, that takes your order, laying his head on the front counter, resting. Gross.... that's the same counter they serve your food on. A manager was visible... and I was astounded she said nothing.
While I was waiting for my food, 3 separate customers came in complaining about their drive thru orders... wrong condiments than ordered, missing condiments on sandwiches. I watched the manager repeatedly roll her eyes at customers, like she didn't even care.
I finally get my food, and proceed to my car. I get in, open my bag, and the fries are less than half full. I proceed back in, look at the expediter, who was also doing the fries, and simply state "Seriously?". He apologized, I waited another 4 minutes (while my sandwich is getting cold), got a full, fresh order of piping hot fries, and he tried to give them to me in my hand, no bag. Keep in mind I visibly had a cast on one hand.
I understand you get what you pay for... but this is just absurd! Called the 800 number, someone was "supposed" to get back to me....yeah......
Read moreIf I could give zero stars to this location I would. My friend ordered her food first because I was trying to find the two cheese burger meal on the menu. While the cashier was taking my friends order, what looked like a managaer told the cashier “After that you can go.” Finishes my friends order and walks out while I’m standing there wonder why she didn’t take my order. Still standing at the counter waiting for someone to help me 5 mins passes by. Someone finally comes over and takes my order and while this cashier is typing in my order someone else that looked like another manager walks by the cashier and messes with his screen and “shows him how to do something”. So on the screen my total is saying 10.38 but the cashier is saying 11.27…….weird but whatever I pay and didn’t get a receipt so I had no idea what my order number was. They yell out an order number and assume it’s mine because it was a medium two cheese burger meal with a medium coke and a small decaf coffee ( weird I didn’t order that) Left the small decaf coffee at the pick up area and grabbed the order then went to the cashier and told him what happened, he got the manager and the manager asked me what had happened, he then asked me where the decaf coffee was, still at the pick up area🤷🏻♀️. Anywho, I got no apology. I work in customer service and this location is horrible. No greetings, no smiles, nothing. I get times are tough for everyone but smile, act like you want to be there. I will not be coming back to this...
