During a recent trip to Manchester, Vermont, we stumbled upon Nong’s Kitchen, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. This cozy little spot may look unassuming from the outside, but the warmth, flavor, and love inside make it truly special. While doing restaurant reviews, I didn't want to forget doing one for Nong's Kitchen.

From the first bite, you can tell everything is made with care. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, and it was absolutely perfect noodles cooked just right, with a beautiful balance of sweet, savory, and a hint of tang. My friend got the Drunken Noodles, and we were both blown away by the bold flavors and fresh veggies spicy, satisfying, and full of personality.

But what really stood out was the hospitality. It’s the kind of genuine kindness that sticks with you. You don’t just feel like a customer here you feel like you’ve been welcomed into someone’s home.

We took home some mango sticky rice for dessert, and it was the perfect ending creamy, fragrant, and not overly sweet. A true comfort dish, done right.

If you're in the Manchester area, do yourself a favor and visit Nong’s Kitchen. The food is outstanding, the people are lovely, and the experience is one you’ll remember long after...

Place is so beautiful on the inside they really did well with making a small space luxurious. The service is great very attentive. Music playing a created a good vibe. Food was great I got spicy tonkatsu and wow a creamy ramen broth filled with everything you could want in ramen and more. Food cam out quickly which is what I hoped for my daughter was at karate I had exactly one hour I was in seated and left happy within an hour(I was alone). I also got the soup dumplings which is a must. Four dumpling in individual cups and a delicious broth with a side sauce . Wow I ate all four on my own and barley had room for my ramen ( which I got to go and tasted great to go also). In the future I know Ill be back. They have a cute round table with what looked like a spinning middle piece to share food that looked like a fun idea if u...

Great food! Authentic accoutrements. Spicy jalapeños.. excellent service.

We had a flat tire leaving restaurant. We pulled back into their spacious parking lot to regroup. The proprietor of the property saw we were in distress He approached us and was genuine. Ron was instrumental in troubleshooting and had local contacts. Our spare tire was flat and hydraulic lift stem sheered. He rallied the community to respond. He even did impromptu extension for leverage to get the tire bolts off. Cooper pipe. Our spare had 5 psig and needed 60. He and the waiter took the spare to local gas station and inflated spare. M -Ron’s guy - helped with the labor and we shared sweat and then toasted with bottled water. Ron...

This was our second time getting takeout from here. The dumplings are great and very tasty! We wished that both the chicken and pork dumplings had a tad bit more filling but they were still good. The soup dumplings are by far our favorite! Charging a gratuity for takeout is super annoying! The first time we doubled tipped bc we did not catch it. Second time we knew better. If this is going to be a common practice I think the establishment should own it and advertise it. Seems a bit sneaky. Oddly I only have seen added take out gratuity in Vt. All other states it’s optionally. Why not just increase your prices?

It’s a charming place in Manchester, the service was excellent, the food so tasteful and beautiful! We tried the Pork katsu curry (it’s a big plate) and the Miso Ramen, both delicious. The Thai Fried Banana Roll for dessert was perfect for two! There is a parking lot on the back of the restaurant with a lot of spots.
