I ordered Circa50's white vinyl mesh covers ("indoor / outdoor") for my butterfly chairs a little over a month ago and I couldn't be happier!

They arrived on schedule and have been living out on my back deck since. I was nervous about getting white for outdoor furniture at first, but the material is so durable and easy to clean / stain-resistant that it isn't an issue at all. They're super comfortable, beautiful, and are clearly very well-made.

Naturally there are cheaper options out there on the internet, but after comparing reviews across various brands, it became clear that if I wanted quality and durability, I should go with Circa50. It's only been a month, but so far the covers are inspiring lots of confidence.

The only small issue is that one of my chairs (I bought them second-hand, estimated to be from the late '40s / early '50s) is slightly larger than the other, and although I ordered the largest size for both chairs, the cover doesn't hang quite as comfortably on the larger chair. I'm absolutely chalking this up as my own mistake! Steve from Circa50 has been super friendly & accommodating to work with, so I imagine if I'd consulted him before ordering (the chair's measurements were obviously slightly above the Size D dimensions) he would have provided a solid recommendation / solution. So if you have a slightly weird-sized vintage chair—give Circa50 a call for consultation before you order...

I purchased two size D Hardoy chair covers in Natural canvas recently. The order was taken quickly in a call back from Steve in customer service. Because there are so many different size chairs in production it is invaluable to select the proper size. Steve provided excellent input on the correct dimensions and detailed fabric information. I learned that the Natural color canvas is a much heavier weight than the other colored canvas covers which will add to the longevity. When my order arrived promptly as promised I was delighted to see that the quality of the material and workmanship is first rate (well beyond my expectations) and the covers fit my vintage original chairs perfectly. I anticipate many years of comfort and enjoyment in my sunny southern California patio.

Having replaced the covers many times over the 50 or so years I have had the chairs (handed down from my mother's original purchase in the mid-50's) I am so happy to finally find a reputable manufacturer who honors the original product in quality and design. I look forward to amping up the decor of the patio and will be ordering additional colors/fabrics in the near future.

Outstanding Quality and Service – 14 Years and Still Going Strong!

This is my third time purchasing butterfly chair covers from Circa50, and I continue to be impressed. I have four chairs and two ottomans — two of the chairs I’ve owned for over 50 years! Over the years, I’ve replaced the covers many times, and Circa50’s have proven to be the best in terms of product quality, delivery and satisfaction by far.

I use two chairs and two ottomans outdoors year-round in the desert near Palm Springs, where they get a solid six hours of direct sun every day. The outdoor vinyl weave mesh covers lasted an incredible 14 years before I finally replaced them — and even then, the stitching, structure, and color had held up remarkably well. Side-by-side with the new ones, the color difference was minimal, which really speaks to their durability.

The covers are also super easy to clean — I just hose them off when needed and give them a deeper wash once a year. Indoors, I use Circa50’s cotton fabric covers in different colors, and they’re just as well-made and stylish.

On top of the quality, Circa50’s customer service is consistently friendly, helpful and quick to ship — a real pleasure to deal with. Five stars for sure!
