O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Manchester

We arrived at 1pm with a party of 9 and they told us it would be an 1:30-2pm because their kitchen was backed up. The restaurant wasn't very busy. Then they told us they could not seat us all together due to other large groups had shown up even though we had called ahead. They told us we had to split our group and sit at back to back tables and that if we wanted to sit together it would be another hour. This was at 1:30. The hostess then said "we don't like to push tables together, we really don't do that. Another large group pushed tables together without asking us first but they weren't supposed to." I've never been to a restaurant that refused to let large groups sit together and refused to push tables together. We had driven from all over the state and Alabama to meet for a birthday lunch to be together as a family, they saw we were celebrating a birthday, and they did not care. We had the same server for both our tables, so that couldn't have been their reasoning to not allow us to sit together. There were tables in the back out of the way that were empty and could have been pushed together without interfering with a walkway. As we were leaving, the restaurant was near empty, a server was cleaning the bathroom, 4 servers were sitting at a table folding silverware, others were standing around talking, yet we couldn't be accommodated to even sit together? Ridiculous, extremely poor customer service. I won't be visiting any...

This place was probably THE worst service i have ever recieved hands down. If i couls rate it 0 I would!!!! Had to wait about 15 minutes before seated down and when i was seated me and my boyfriend did not get greeted until 15 minutes after.... Our server was not very socialable at all. We got our bread late nor did she ask if we wanted refills on it. We had got the prime rib special which came with a side and an appetizer.. I asked for my steak to be well done and his to be medium well. I had gotten my soup before our appetizer came out and both of our steaks werent what we asked for, so she took them back. A manager came back out and served us, asked if we could cut it up (and we did and some parts of it were done but the rest was still soo bloody.) then left. She also didnt want to take the empty plates off the table which made it very hard to get settled and eat around our meal. When we had left, we had watched her complain to her coworkers and managed who helped us on how she didnt get a tip.... News flash, not everyone is going to tip you for poor service! All in all, service was poor, she didnt want to at least apologize for not being attentive, at least apologized for our meal not being what we asked for, or tried offering to discount our meal, or anything. Would not recommend any of my friends to come here and...

Nope never again. Used to be good but it’s been a down hill fall for years. Due to poor management and poor upkeep of the building.

Where do I start… service is friendly but they definitely need training. I order ribs and chicken. She came back twice to make sure the order was right the 3rd time she asked how I wanted my steak cooked…. ?? Got salad and almost immediately got food which tells me I have old food not cooked fresh. I can understand the ribs but chicken tenders should have been cook fresh it was all barely room temp. Ribs smelled very funny. And by that I mean it smelled like they cooked bad spoiled food. I refused to eat them. Chicken was old they tasted like they are using old oil to cook them. Next they need to do a lot of work. The table and booths have been the same since it opened needs to be remodeled and they is paint peeling and falling from the ceiling. There is black mold above windows and obvious water damage. Wouldn’t hurt them to clean a little. Ceiling tiles and light fixtures are all dusty and dirty. Spider webs in the open dividers.

I’ve not eat here in years and all because the parking lot is always empty. Now I know why. As a food ambassador for Google and a local ambassador also. I would beg that corporate would get involved with this location and make...
