Where to begin.... I really like Red Robin, but this location is terrible! The problem I believe stems from poor management. The staff is completely inattentive and have absolutely no clue about items on the menu, or what they are doing. The service is atrocious and painfully slow. The food is sub par, for Red Robin. Based on the amount of time it takes to get the food, there's really no excuse. Forget the bottomless fries, you can't get them if your server disappears for your whole meal.
This wasn't my first bad experience, for me, at this location., however, my latest trip was exceptionally terrible.
I arrived to the restaurant, and there was no hostess at the station. We proceeded to the bar and was told by the hostess walking by, that there was a 10 minute wait. There were also 3 sets of people waiting. There were approximately 26 empty tables, and only 14 with people, and 3 people at the bar. I was completely perplexed as to why we were waiting when the restaurant was 3/4 empty. 15 minutes later, we were finally seated. Upon asking the hostess why the wait, she stated, they didn't want to overload the kitchen, as they were busy earlier. Really!?!?
We sat at our both in the bar for a good 15 minutes more, and not one server had come over to us at this point. I turned the light on, on the table top interactive thing, which lit up and still nothing. Finally, the bartender came over and told us it wasn't his table, but he'd take our drink order. Drinks were slow on arriving, as there is one bar tender for the entire restaurant and bar. When our drinks were served we still had not been visited by our server. We ordered our appetizer and sat and waited. Finally about 30 minutes after being seated, our inept server (who is not a new server by the way), shows up and is rambling off excuses about he didn't know it was his "section". We ordered our food and he was relatively clueless about menu items. Our food arrived and we asked for 2 waters. The server proceeded to stand there, act like he was cleaning a table, then stood up, and flat out, started watching football on the tv. At the commercial he left, and I assumed, to get the waters. My dinner was done, still no water. We asked several other servers, who said they would get it, or tell our waiter, and that didn't happen.
The food was tossed on the plate with zero care or effort, and the fries were sparse. I'd legitametly say that it was on par with McDonald's. I expect better quality, when I'm paying $11 - $12 for a burger. Not to mention, we didn't see our waiter until after we were done eating, so bottomless fries, weren't even an option at that point.
When he finally came over and brought the waters, after I reminded him, and asked for the check, I expressed my displeasure with him and his service, the food and the joke of me having to wait, when the restaurant was 3/4 empty. He asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, and I replied with an emphatic NO, multiple times. The manager shows up at my table and asks, "What happened?" I informed him that I explicitly stated, I didn't want to speak to him, and informed him, I will NOT be returning to this location, and that there is clearly a significant problem with management here.
I called corporate, and spoke to a nice representative. That was on Monday. She stated that either the regional or district manager would call me back, and that if I don't hear back in a timely fashion, to call them back. Well, here it is Sunday, and still no call. So the lack of management at this location clearly stems from the top. This being demonstrated, by the lack of regard, since I still haven't received a call back from either.
Overall impression of this location.... save your money and time, and go to McDonald's, you will be much happier and have a better meal.

Once we were finally seated, the restaurant had only six or seven tables in use. Placed our order, and waited 35 minutes for three burgers and fries. Another thing we noticed was a lot of the staff were sitting down at the unoccupied tables on their phones closest to the kitchen. Now if this was their break great I appreciate that, however, why were they not in a designated break room? Or is this how the staff goes about their typical day, on their phones out in the open? Our table was sticky, so were the salt and pepper shakers, and the ketchup container all felt like they hadn't been wiped down in quite a while. The tablet that allows you to pay the bill felt like milk was spilled all over it and hadn't been wiped down in a while either. When our meals arrived, they were cold, with very overcooked burgers (asked for a medium, and medium rare), and soggy fries. Personally the burger that I ordered came with bacon, and it was microwavable Oscar Mayer bacon at that! If you guys pride yourself on a being burger joint at least use real bacon. I did ask for the manager to at least make him aware that two out of the three meals were wrong. He stated the cooks have to cook the burgers a certain way... So I stated... Very overcooked and cold then, which is not at all how we asked for? He apologized and walked away back towards the bar. It seemed as though the manager was also the bartender for the afternoon. Our waitress came back to the table to ask what was wrong and we explained to her our interaction with her manager. She stated she's very sorry and that he's brand new within 3 to 4 weeks. That's really no excuse, management is trained for these type of things, and I feel really bad that this restaurant has gone downhill. I personally will never go back to...
Read moreWe go to Red Robin quite a bit. We feel it's a solid place to go for quick, tasty no-frills food. Especially with kids. Today, unfortunately, we had a less than desirable experience. Mid day on a Tuesday, the restaurant was fairly empty. We (me, my boyfriend and 2 of my children) were seated immediately. The server came over and introduced herself and I told her, as I always do, I like to check my rewards to see if I have any to use. She seemed annoyed and took my number. It did take her a bit to come back and when she did she needed the number again. She heads back to the kitchen and after a bit, comes out with a tray of food for another table. Goes back to the kitchen again. It has been over 10 minutes since we've been seated at this point. She comes over to our table and lays the slip down with no word or comment. Usually the server will explain what I have/don't have, what I've used recently and what's expired. Silence. So we order. At this point, we have ordered our apps through the tablet on our table. We order our waters and I order a Coors light. She says that there aren't any draught beer, all out. Huh? All the draughts are out? I have never heard of that before.... Anyway, we go with the water and she just walks away! Even though we were ready to order our meals. We have been there for probably 20 minutes by now and menus were closed. Service for the rest of the time was just as bad. As she cleaned the table next to us, she leaned over and asked how everything was but never came back for drink refills or french fry refills. We love Red Robin but it definitely was not a good...
