Ruby Thai — Restaurant in Manchester

I came on a Saturday evening and was really surprised how FRESH the food was. From the buffet we got 2 sides: stir fried green beans and fried pork. I was expecting to feel terrible after eating but it was so good! The pork has a nice coating and the inside was juicy delicious - I don't know what it was called but it's the one with no sauce on it. Next we ordered shrimp Thai basil fried rice and shrimp pad Thai. It's cooked to order and came to us piping hot! Also they use real medium sized shrimp which really surprised me because I'm so used to being disappointed with tiny shrimp at other places. There were like 7 shrimps per order. My reasoning for 4 stars is that the flavors are very Chinese (the whole menu is basically Chinese) for a place claiming to be Thai. So the flavors of these two dishes weren't terrible but also very lacking. But the customer service was nice so I would come back again for...

The staff was nice. The food, not so much. I got the chicken curry with fried rice. The curry taste was off. It smelled and tasted weird. I was disappointed in the lack of flavor. $11 for the meal, which was mostly rice. The chicken was weird, definitely not the best quality, but it didn't seem to be cooked thoroughly. It appeared to have a light pink color but I couldn't tell if it was actually raw.

I did get a mild stomach ache, which I usually don't get unless I eat from questionable places, due to my increased immunity against pathogens.

If you're going to use cheap meat, at least add some extra spices and make it taste better. It tasted mostly like oil...

Went on 8/18 trying it for the first time. I asked to have the Entrees and rice to be packed seperately. She refused and said its against their policy. Fine, I understand your just following the rules. When asked how I can contact a manager to suggest a change to this policy, the employee was extremely rude and refused. She wouldn't give me any contact information and bluntly said shes not involving her boss in this.

Just bad customer service being disrespectful to...
