I highly recommend staying somewhere else. The rooms are outdated and they don't do any maintenance repairs whatsoever. I have not only had to deal with a broken AC, but I've also had to deal with shower components falling apart as well as the refrigerator in the room just not working at all or freezing my things completely. If you have an issue or anything that is not a polite interaction, you will be abused and possibly suffer a defamation of character since they like to spread lies without proof. I have taken up the issues with Marriott especially when it comes to the elite benefit guarantee, which does come with compensation when reservations are not honored for Elite members. Drug addicts wander the halls and try to break into people's rooms. Homeless people sleep in the stairwells, and the housekeepers eat breakfast with the guests which is against Marriott standards and policies, but gossip about the guests thinking that people don't understand them since they claim to not speak English.... Surprisingly, quite a few people do speak Spanish these days and I was appalled at the things that were being said about other guests as well as myself and my husband. Not to mention the treatment of being disabled and having a service dog and them acting like orange juice is something to be upset about because my disability caused me to spill which I cleaned up with a towel.. will never recommend this hotel. The location is disastrous. The security is not existent, and the employees and management team are not up to Marriott standard at all nor up to their corporate company standards.
You would be better off at the econolodge than this location, thankfully there are three other Marriott hotels in the city as well as two of them being just down the road and honestly better hotels all together.. avoid Fairfield do not risk? Or you'll end up like me with your back window smashed out will and then treated like a lesser human when you report it to them. Surprisingly, a respectable disabled person who has worked for Marriotts for years is treated like such while drug addicts who literally try to break into people's rooms and sleep in the hallways are are respected more.
Not worth the money. Not worth the pain and definitely not up to Marriott standards. It's surprising that they can even retain their...
Read moreVisiting from CT, we settled on a hotel we hoped was a good choice. We were pleasantly surprised with the great location of this hotel. The staff throughout our whole experience was okay. They listened to our feedback, although it was negative. The room we stayed in was the worst room I have ever been in my life. The first thing I noticed upon entering the room and having to use the bathroom, there was poop on the toilet seat. I had to race to my suitcase to get the "hero" sani-wipes I packed that saved our lives! I cleaned the seat and was thankful to finally relieve myself. I couldn't believe it, but it was only the beginning of a nightmare! As I looked around the bathroom, the big splat of blood on the wall near my face was hard not to notice! The stained water drips all over that went from the ceiling to the floor was unsightly. No fan in the bathroom either which was puzzling. As I unpacked my suitcase, and hung clothes up, there was a molded bath mat on the shelf above. I wanted to barf at this point. I attempted to shower and had to wash down someone else's body hair so I could clean myself up. I just could not believe the condition of this place. At this point, the only positive was that I did not see any bugs after scouring the bed and room! I was annoyed but we were only staying 1 night so I got through it. Thank God I brought my own pack of wipes! I was cleaning everything! When night time came and we finally went to bed, more blood on the comforter. What the heck! And to think I told a lady at the front desk that night about everything AND the man checking us out and only thing they said was "it was unacceptable". Not to mention they needed a $100 unknown deposit to stay in this room! I could not believe it! I was almost going to forfeit breakfast which was a plus to us going to this hotel. We decided to see what that looked like. The lady handling the food was very nice and attentive to keeping up on cleaning. The food and her service was the best thing going. Although we loved the location, I will never go back to that...
Read moreI came to NH for graduation so I understand prices are more expensive, but even with that, this stay was not worth the money. The bathroom had mold in the caulking. The bottles of shampoo and conditioner are to be up on the wall but they weren't; however, the one still had the mounting bar on it with screws and you couldn't separate it and on the back, it had a hair from a previous guest. The lamp in the area where the tv and desk area was broken. The plug it was plugged into didn't work, plus the plugs on the wall on a black bar by that same lamp did not work either. I tried every single one for the computer charger and they didn't work so I had to have my computer cord go across the room in order to charge my computer. The elevator broke during our stay which meant we had to go up three flights of steps. That typically wouldn't be a big deal but my husband is having surgery in December so it was painful to get up the steps, also the inspection of the elevator had expired in October. The old lady doing stuff with breakfast was rude, and the food really wasn't all that great. If I come back to Manchester, I definitely will not stay at this hotel. I needed to use the computer to print off something for graduation and I couldn't even go to the school webpage because the hotel's browser was not the most up-to-date browser which meant you couldn't see anything. We had a room with a king-size bed and a pull-out couch. The couch when pulled out already had sheets on it, but there were no pillows. When asked for pillows, I had to go down to get them but they were only small tiny pillows, not full-size pillows that would...
