I'm not sure if this is a review or a social experiment, but here goes. Management can follow along with the time stamps as well. I went into the Manchester Best Buy with my son around 6PM. Being a former employee myself, I checked in the with the host and asked for help with the computer ram. He told me he couldn't help me personally, but he'd radio someone to meet me there which is the protocol. I told him, I'll go wait at the case. I saw a employee looking over and I give the eye brow raise and head nod to signify, "Oh cool, you're coming to help me." That employee ducked into another isle. Ok. Another employee, same thing. I got a funny suspicion so around 6:05, I texted my former manager who now manages the Manchester store. "Hey, I think some of your reps think I'm a reseller. I made some eye contact with a few and they suddenly pretended to be busy." My son tends to wander around, because he's 7 and he's familiar with the layout having pretty much grown up going to BB. I hang out at the endcap to watch him but still next to the case holding the computer ram. I look up and see the host pointing towards me so I figured he's directing someone to come help. Turns out he was directing a customer to the same case I'm at. I see an employee walk right over...right by me to help the other customer. Listen, I Get that I LOOK like a reseller. Not for nothing, most of them are indeed Asian, but they usually hang out at the high end stuff looking for a Macbook Pro or two, a couple Apple Watches or a Gaming laptop something that can be sold in MA for profit. I get it, but it's usually the same people day after day and it's not the guy trying to buy $50 computer ram. My son who knows the deal by now asks why no ones come to help us yet. I told him I didn't know and we waited for little longer before leaving to go walk in the mall. While walking I contemplated ordering the ram for customer pickup cause at least I'll have it, but that usually takes 40 minutes to an hour and I wasn't going to wait that long. I ultimately decided I didn't need it I guess. We went back through the store to leave and I stopped by the host around 6:20 and said, "I'm pretty sure everyone assumed I'm just a reseller, cause I didn't get any help." He offered to call for help again, but at that point I already decided I didn't need the ram. I'll just order it for pickup when I need it next time. I dunno, it just sucks cause it's right there and I could have just...
Read moreWent to the store to pick up an order that I had paid for online that was supposed to be in stock, and when I got there, they told me to wait and that it wasn't ready. I went to go look at other electronics in the meantime while I waited for them to get the item in my order ready and I was looking at this computer monitor, I asked 1 of the associates there how much it was because it was open box and what the sticker said it contained damages, she replied and said it was $160 from 300+ it orignally cost. I said I would take it, then the associate that I asked to bring the monitor to the front went back and forth with me about that this wasn't the monitor, that it was in a box in the corner of the store, we walked over there and there was nothing nonetheless. It was the monitor they currently had on display out.
Finally after all of that time wasted, they unplugged the monitor and brought it to the front so I can pay for it, and the other item in my order as well that i had been waiting for, so they cancelled my order because supposedly they didn't have my item after making me wait that long for it and telling me to wait for it that it should be out and ready soon. And AND the monitor that I was told that was 160 is full priced even though it is open box, has damages, and they're using as their display in the store. So, nonetheless, they made me waste my time, and they didn't even bother to apologize for their lack of professionalism. It seems that the employees here lack the proper training before they're hired and put on the floor to work the store. As this being the first time going into this store, it will be my first and last. I will never be shopping at this store location ever again, and I will not ever recommend...
Read moreWorst experience of my life, my wife and I ordered a very expensive tv from Best Buy and paid for a 5 year warranty, the salesman said if we find a cheaper tv then Best Buy would price match so we went to the Manchester nh store, they said they would have to cancel our order and redo it, then they said they were having trouble price matching he said this never happens. Brought Criss the general manager in and he said there was a problem and we could do it ourselves on line after being in the store for almost 2-hours I told them to forget it and put the order back to the way it was, the kid behind the counter said ok and talked to Criss again and Criss said no problem and ignored us never came back, at this point the kid called a manager named Kat she said they are on the phone and said they were going to fix the issue, left us standing there with no response we felt like idiots, I said to the kid that was helping us,I thought you said it was all set and he replied I must have read it wrong and when it’s fixed you will get a call from Criss the general manager what a shit show as you guessed it no call from Criss. When we got home we went on there website and did a chat and they said the order was canceled so in order to get the tv we would have to wait until the 18 th when we were scheduled for the 4th because of there mistake. No communication from the store both managers blew us off left us standing there, no help at all and screwed up our order and delivery and my wife and I have to suffer. This was the third expensive tv we bought from Best Buy never again will I buy from them and don’t recommend the Manchester nh store to anyone. The Managers need to be retrained to solve problems and not leave...
