Easily one of the better cafes in Manchester. I used to frequent Eighty Eight Coffee, which has unfortunately closed, and have been on the hunt for a cafe that would provide the same level of service and quality.
Two Moons is exactly the place to be! I ordered an iced flavored latte and the espresso shined through. I also got a peach croissant that was soft and tasted fresh. Not sure if they bake in house, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did! I ended up ordering a hot latte to go and that didn't disappoint either. The owner was working behind the bar and was attentive and friendly.
The ambiance and decor is impeccable! My only critique is that the seats at the bar were a little awkward due to the height of the chairs and the space can fill up quickly. Some people may have trouble locating the cafe, but I had no issue by entering the front of the mill. There's a narrow staircase you have to go down so not wheelchair accessible and be cautious with children/elderly. Not sure if there's...
Read moreI had been dying to check out this café after seeing a post about it online. I was thrilled to see they had a booth set up at Manchester's pride festival. I tried a specialty iced coffee and my kids got a flavored seltzer drink. Both were absolutely delicious, for real, like I couldn't stop thinking about the coffee for days afterwards. But what really blew me away was the kindness of the owner. While waiting for our drinks my young son spilled some bubbles on his shoe and was very uspet about having sticky feet. I told him I was going to get back in the line (which was reasonably long) to buy a water to wash his feet and the owner overheard and gave me a bottle of water for free. I was so touched, it was incredibly kind of her. She also accommodated the kids' colored straw requests and was just such a kind, friendly, and genuine person. Great drinks, great vibes, and an amazing owner behind it all. Can't wait to stop in to the actual café...
Read moreThis place is great. Its a 25 minute drive for me, but its worth it. I love coming here. The desserts they make are all from scratch. Some desserts are partnered with other bakers. They have such a nice cozy atmosphere. It's got some spooky decorations and it's fun to look at all the stuff they have for sale. They have cool novelty teas in jars, books, fidgets, and sometimes cute little Keychains or pins if you're lucky. Their menu is always introducing new flavors and depending on the time of year, they have special menu options for a limited time.
This place is definitely worth checking out. The business is ran by family and friends. Everyone who works there is super friendly and a little bit of entertainment haha It's a fun crowd and the drinks and food are never disappointing.
Go there to do class work, have meetings or just to chill out in some silence and enjoy their delicious crumb bars or their incredible...
