Today 6/29/22 I visited the Wendy’s at 105 Buckland Rd. At about 6:40om. I walked in and there was no line. I stood online for a few minutes. There was a man behind the register bagging food. He walked past me a couple times and never spoke a word. I waited thinking one of the many associates behind the counter would eventually take my order. No1 did. I was told later that the same man that was bagging the food and ignoring the people on line inside the store was actually the manager on duty. I was told his name is Robert. After now waiting several minutes… I said hello a few times to get his attention. Anyones attention. Robert ignored me and continued to bag what appeared to be Uber or online orders . He sealed the bags with the stickers . After now yelling EXCUSE me, a associate in the back answered me. Telling me that the man ignoring us was the manager. He was taking the orders and he was finishing the mobile orders. I asked the associate if those orders were more important than the customers standing in front of him? That’s when Robert finally acknowledged me. He was very condescending and replied yes they are. At no point in time did the manager acknowledge the people on line. Not even a hello give me. a sec while I complete this order. Nothing. The same associate tried to log into the register so he could take out orders, he needed managers code to get into the register to take the orders. Robert refused and said for us to wait. He was extremely rude. It was all completely...
Read moreUsually I cant complain about this place. No matter whether under pressure or not the staff still tries to serve with a smile. But my experience this time got me a little frustrated. I usually come through drive thru on my way home from work (near closing time 1am) usually theres a 50 percent chance of a long line already being formed. Luckily this time there wasn't really a line. The person who took the order was spot on with entering in how I wanted my order (i get the 5 dollar meal they offer) even had it right on screen (add cheese to the sandwich, no ice in my drink, extra crispy fries). But sadly I didn't check my order until i got at the house and...theres no cheese on my sandwich, fries are soggy, and the drink is watered down with almost completely melted ice. It wouldn't be any issue if I lived say 20 minutes away, but I live literally 3 minutes down the road I'm not completely disappointed because food is food. I'm just a little disappointed in the fact that there was no line so there should have been no problem paying attention to the specific requests on the order. Other than that the staff are still pretty nice thumbs up in that category. Just pay attention to specific requests so people dont drive around with an attitude when their orders messed up..or feel bummed like I did when there was no cheese on my...
Read moreSo I came to this Wendy’s because the other next to me is closed. When they took my order I wanted extra lettuce and fresh fries. When I got my order, there wasn’t extra lettuce. So I asked to have some because it’s missing. The lady at the window I say maybe in her late 40s early 50s seemed like she was bothered to get what I asked for. So when I get to the fries, you can tell they dumped the fries right back in the fryer to make it seem such. So I asked the lady are these fresh fries and sarcastically she’s like yes those are fries and what about them? I said I wanted fresh fries and these aren’t. She then goes and say “and what you want me to do about them” with an attitude. I said well I want new fresh fries and she snatched them from me. Which is rude and distasteful. The manager pointed his finger at me to rudely to move. So I parked my car and went inside for my fries and told the manger she was rude to me and he’s like “she wasn’t rude” bro you dont know what she did or say to me at the window. Then he tells me to go back to my car and wait. I said no I’ll stay here for my fries. I don’t make complaints but this was rude and ghetto. If you dont like working at fast food restaurants or want ti give people what they PAID for, they get a...
