Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Manhattan

My friend had an appointment in Manhattan today It was over about 12:45 so we decided to go and have a late lunch at Chili's. It's probably been 25 years since I've been to a Chili's so it was like going for the first time. While I was waiting for her appointment I was looking at their menu online and the ribs caught my eye so when we got there that is what I ordered. My friend ordered a half slab of ribs and I ordered the full We both got loaded mashed potatoes since they didn't have baked and then we had a little side dish of coleslaw. The cole slaw was pretty good The loaded mashed potatoes were really good They just get cold real easy but that could be because it was really cold in that restaurant today. It was also 27° outside. When they brought her food out to us they gave my friend her plates and they gave me mine which was a half a slab I told the young lady that I ordered a full slab and she said oh I will go tell them. Then our waitress showed up and said they thought it meant a half slab they're making you another one I'll be right back with it well when they brought it out it looked totally different from the one I was eating but it was all supposed to be the same. The first half of the ribs look like it had a rub on it not barbecue sauce just a spicy rub They were okay They were a little bit dry a little bit more than a little bit. When they brought the second half of my ribs out they were buried in barbecue sauce so I was determined to take them home put them in a box and then I thought I want to see what these are like so I cut into the middle of them and they were dryer than the first ones They were like cardboard dry that's why they put so much barbecue sauce on them. I did tell the waitress she did take them back and they did make me a fresh half rack of ribs but after I got home and ate them them two were a bit dry in the middle. We entered the building through the side door the back door because we thought that was entrance but then our hostess Sky found us and seated us. she was a sweet really cute young lady that seemed to care about her customers. Our waitress was Vanessa and she was nice but she would ask us a question and before we had a chance to answer she was gone she was there and gone so quick that I couldn't have even told you what she look like. But in the end she did take my rib back and get me a fresh rack of ribs All in all I guess our visit was okay I wouldn't rate it a five but I also wouldn't give it a one. I'll be back to chili soon and order something different next time let's hope that that Review goes...

Same review on Trip Advisor. Went at around 4:30 sat at the bar. When I arrived no bartender waited and a man in a red shirt walked behind the bar and did not say a word to me. When the bartender showed up she walked past me to the other customer sitting at the bar with food and empty drink and asked if he wanted another before coming over to me. When I questioned her on the happy hour drink specials she became a bit defensive. I ordered a large beer. She than again disappeared came back walked over to the other guy I think she was trying to hit on him. When she did take my order and it was brought to me I had to ask twice for blue cheese for my wings. Not once did she ask me how my food was or would I like another beer when mine was down to a 1/4 of a glass. I travel a bunch and eat out almost every night. When I visit a chain I base my reviews on the service I receive. I can almost count on the food being the same most of the time this time it was good. Back to my unfriendly bartender I sat there for aprox another 20 min finished my beer and still nothing from her. Had to ask for my ck and I felt it was a struggle for her to say thank you. If you hate your job quit don't burden other people with your poor service and bad attitude. You should remember me I left you a less than 10% tip due to your lack of quality service. You can ask all my friends I am not a lite tipper as long as the service is good. I waited tables and bar-tended in my younger days so I know what it is like to survive on tips and all I can say is I never starved and my rent was never late. I am in the area aprox every 2 weeks and I will not go to this Chili's again. As bad as the reviews are I wonder if...

We went to the Manhattan, KS Chili's Grill & Bar restaurant tonight at about 6PM. We ordered our food and waited a bit for it. We were brought out the food and they were missing our corn on the cob. They brought it to our table. My daughter went to take a bite and noticed a big brown spot. We then checked the corn and there was an obvious bite taken out of the corn. You can tell it was a bite because it had the little pieces of corn left over in the area of where the bite was taken. The person who cleaned the table next to us looked at it and said it looked like a bite. He took the corn to the back and then brought out another corn that looked fresh. We let our waitress, Renee, know we wanted boxes because we lost our appetite and we were disgusted. She completely dismissed it and said there’s no way there would have been a bite. We explained you can tell it was an obvious bite and was brown. She said they probably cut the brown spot off, which also is not okay if there’s a bad spot, but you could tell there was an obvious bite. She again said oh no there wouldn’t have been a bite. Nobody got a manager or seemed concerned. We paid and then she brought the receipt. Nothing was compensated or we didn’t even ask for a refund or anything because we were just disgusted. We will never go to Chilis again after this because this was horrendous. It made us sick to...
