Jojo Velasco, manager of the Manhattan Mattress Firm store and the person who convinced me that he could help me with my lower back and neck pain, that suffered when I broke my lower back and had traumatic spinal injuries suffered while I was deployed on a mission while serving our country! I am a Retired US ARMY Lieutenant Colonel 28 years of service! I was deployed 67 months on 4 different occasions to a war zone! I have been dealing with back, neck both hands and feet numbness now for almost 33 years! Can your upper management at Mattress Firm really understand how important it is to find such a caring, compassionate, sympathic and knowledgeable professional person who really cares about Disabled American Veterans, such as myself? We were looking for a new cooling mattress and went to Mattress Firm in Manhattan to start. We walked in a greeted immediately from Brandon. He helped us select a mattress for us and worked the best price he could (they take military discount which is always a plus). He answered any questions we had like the different brands, adjustment bed frames, quotes, etc with no complaints. The mattress we chose was in Kansas City for pickup so we decided to drive to go get it. Getting home and unboxing the mattress we saw that the mattress wasn’t what we ordered and put in a different box. I called Brandon at the store (close to closing time) and told him what happened. He was again so helpful and ensured us it would be fixed by tomorrow and he would keep in contact with us. True to his word Brandon called and ensured us that the wrong mattress had been in the box and he was working on getting the right one delivered as quickly as he could. He was able to fix the problem and do right by us for the company’s mistake and the time inconvenience for our drive. My husband and I have had to buy our fair share of mattresses before and were dreading going to pick out a new one but let me tell you this has been THE BEST mattress experience we have ever had. Tiffany, Lexi, and Carter are not only some of the best people you are going to meet but they go above and beyond to find you a mattress that is going to fit your sleep, your budget, and your life. We planned on taking a couple of months to really figure out what we needed and Carter stepped right in found us the perfect mattress and honestly at a really amazing price. We left telling them we were going to think about it and after grabbing a bite to eat and discussing it, walked right back in and bought it.
