We first did The Witching Hour which was our introduction to escape rooms in general. The puzzles weren't impossible and the hints aren't complete give-aways but they nudge you in the right direction. We were so close to beating The Witching Hour we had to come back for Honor Among Thieves; we were not disappointed. Even though this was a harder room we were able to beat it in record time (at the time). We couldn't wait for the next room and just yesterday we tried The Dinner Party. Best. Room. Ever. It is the most difficult of the three but still soooo much fun! The puzzles were challenging and we ended up getting a few more hints but we got out! Even though we arrived late and were about 30 seconds from having to reschedule, Zach was very cordial and we were able to keep our booking. This place is awesome!
P.S. The best thing about this place is that they don't group you with strangers. We can't be all brand-new and gentle meeting new people when there's a time limit and bragging rights on the...

The story line is wanting. In other words stories aren't well put together with the clues or locks. There is a lot for improvement which is probably the reason it's so hard for people to be successful unless you plan on just putting a puzzle together or like coding. Plus one of the females is an unprofessional liar. We did not go to the first room due to complications of arrival. So we asked about later scheduling in the day. She rudely lied and said they were completely booked for every room. Went online and booked again in a different room with no help from her or money back. And there was tons of availability for booking. If it was the same female later met in the office who was new, I guess she's new and lazy. Cause she didn't even want to try and rebook us and she seemed to struggle giving hints not really explaining what she was talking about and maybe the the story line was missing because she doesn't know or care...
Read moreMy husband and I took my daughter and several of her friends there for her birthday. We had almost completed our room when we uncovered a tool needed for the final clue but it was broken which prevented us from getting to the final clue. It was literally the last clue and we had less than five minutes left in the room. We called and told the girl up front about it but she said there was nothing that they could do about it. So I basically spent all that money to have a broken piece cause us to not solve the mystery. Very disappointing that she didn't stop the clock, come in and fix it, and then restart the clock. I've been to several locked rooms in KC and other places and never once had a problem with broken parts in the room. All parts should be checked and replaced or repaired before they let anyone use the rooms. It's the last time we have gone there. Poor customer service. It should have been...
