324 Speakeasy — Restaurant in Manhattan

Very cute little space, upon arrival, the GPS said we were around the corner from it, when we were directly across the street (google count your days 😝).

There’s a doorbell (you read that right)-We rang the doorbell and were asked for a password 🤪, but we made it in! Once we were inside, I about turned back! It gives kidnapper vibes, BUT, you’ll live (yes, I had my husband go first ☺️🤣).

Down to the nitty gritty, the drinks were good for the most part (we only sent 1 back), however, they’re very small. My husband ordered a mocktail for $10? It was good, BUT, it was half the size of a caprisun. My drink (plum gin with egg,etc ) was good, I prefer it without the foam on top.

Unfortunately, we left out sooner than expected due to the platter not being available (there was no bread) and I wasn’t in the mood for tomatoes and cheese or cookies.

I like that they have booths with curtains you can close for privacy or you can sit at the bar. The drinks that we liked were DELICIOUS. Try the plum gin by itself! It’s made by them and very good! (I’m a wine girl saying this).

Only cons are the drink sizes compared to price and not being able to order a few things due to lack of ingredients. Customer service is great and the ladies...

Wasn’t easy to find at first, but once we got inside it made sense why it is the way it is. Though definitely a gem of a find and spot. Love the vibe, aesthetics, and atmosphere of the place.

The staff were very friendly, though Kaleb the bartender was really great, fast and attentive to each drink that he made. Each were made with love. He would take the time to explain any drink we had a question about even with him being busy.

Note: Fridays and Saturdays are member only, though if you’re not a member it’s $25 dollar entry fee. The drinks are expensive but for what you get and the quality of the drinks, it was worth it.

We got there about 6:45pm and about 7:30pm is when it started to pick up and get busy, even though it was busy it never felt crowded, even with the place being small. If you want to become a member, one of the staff members can give you the details to sign up.

Would definitely go back. Was my kind of place and vibe with not having to deal with the younger crowd. Would recommend going at least once.

Best selection of liquor in town. Not many beers on tap (3 or 4), definitely specialize in craft cocktails and a decent wine selection. Bartenders genuinely care about what you like/don't like and are very knowledgeable. They are great to talk with if you sit at the bar. Since these are craft cocktails made from scratch, with quality ingredients, it takes a minute or two to make a drink, but the wait is well worth it. It is a Member's only bar, but you can pay for a day-membership that gets you and 1 guest in for $25. Well worth it if you don't want a full membership and go for an occasional night out. Quiet, yet lively environment. Sometimes they will post a weekly secret password on their Facebook page that you can use to get in on a Wednesday or Thursday with no cover charge pending availability of seats.
