Nikki's Custard® — Restaurant in Manheim Township

Had my first experience today at Nikki’s and it was delicious! My thin mint cookie shake was scrumptious and they took the time to explain their product and provide an excellent customer experience. They were friendly, helpful and efficient. The space is modern and inviting. I will be a loyal repeat customer!

I got to witness an exchange between a well-meaning customer and the owner about their cashless policy. The owner handled being directly challenged by the customer with absolute grace and professionalism. Seriously amazing. I love that they have multiple options, oat milk soft serve, regular custard and then vegan sorbet. Not to mention the oat milk soft serve that I'd ordered, Butter Pecan, with coffee caramel and peanut topping was so delicious. At first I was really disappointed that the flavors are updated weekly? And that more than likely next time I visit. But I thought about it and I'm not as disappointed as I originally was because I'm very excited to try other flavors of their oatmilk soft serve. My fiancé got himself a vanilla custard milkshake with banana topping mixed in and cashews. He said that was to die for.

Frozen custard is so much better than soft serve ice cream and regular ice cream. It scoops like hard ice cream, but it is the consistency of soft serve. I didn't need toppings because the custard is so full of real flavor. However, the toppings looked amazing! Nikki's is soooo good! There is a custard stand near the college I attended in Beaver Falls PA. It is just as delicious here! Very different presentation, but it is just as wonderful.
