I loved this location until today. I normally have 4 and 5 star visits. The staff is normally friendly but it was a problem from the moment I started my order today until finish. I pulled up to the drive thru and asked if they do special drink orders. I tried a new drink at a different location this week that I really liked. They told me that as long as they have the ingredients , that they do special orders. Whoever took my order at the drive through didn’t really sound thrilled about doing it but she said I could so I gave her the ingredients. I did forget to say the size I guess probably because I’m not used to doing special orders. She also forgot to ask me which size I wanted so we were both at fault there. I get to the window, pay and give my tip. She handed me either a tall or a grande and so I asked to switch it to venti realizing we both forgot to mention size. She didn’t seem too thrilled about that either. There was also another girl close by named Ashley who had attitude written all over her face. They hand me a venti. I take a sip and it was watered down. I specifically asked them for light ice at start of order. I had to turn my vehicle around, park and go in because I wanted a refund. Another Barista, unsure of her name starts giving me a hard time about wanting a refund. She kept offering to make me a new one. I said no, I don’t pay this much for a drink for it to be watered down. I told her I asked for light ice. With a smart tone, she said, I gave you light ice. I responded that if you did, I wouldn’t be complaining right now. Then Ashley comes over and I also told her I wanted a refund. Finally she said to put your card in. She also had a smart mouth and proceeded to tell me she made the first drink fine and when I asked if they also put the tip I gave, back on my card, her answer was, I don’t know, with a rude facial expression and tone. They could have just honored my request for a refund but they chose drama. All I wanted was my money back and to go to a different location. They had me so angry to the point I was shaking and then they acted as if I was the problem. I never had that much issue getting a refund before. It was a total of three employees that seem like they don’t really care to provide quality customer service. Not sure where the good ones went but now I don’t want to return to this Starbucks. It was bad enough all that went down and I was treated with such disrespect and then there were several customers that were close by hearing our interaction. Kind of a humiliating experience. Starbucks makes tons of money. Not sure why I had to go through that to...
Read moreI don't really like leaving online reviews but I really wanted to leave a review for this store. I am their normal customer and by normal, they see me every morning during the week before I head into work. On this particular day, I didn't have time to get coffee in the morning, so I went to get coffee during lunch hour. Today, I was already feeling an overwhelming sense of grief as I have lost my dog recently and today is just not going well as is. I got coffee first, and then stopped over to get shake shack's for my office, but the drinks spilled all over in my car when I got my order. I tried to hold it altogether, but as soon as I pulled back up to Starbucks to get my coffee again, I broke down. I tried to put my order in again, but I just couldn't stop crying. The manager and the staff were ALL so very kind and the manager even came outside and walked to my car to give me a hug. She didn't have to, but she did. And I needed that. They gave me my new coffee and the manager (I wish I knew her name...I think Jenn?) even came back out to help clean up the spill. Their kindness made my day. There are still good people out there. Thank you Starbucks staff for what you did for me today. You didn't have to, but you did it with grace and kindness and I truly appreciate it. That's why I keep coming back...
Read moreLogistical nightmare! Whoever designed the Starbucks drive-thru has obviously never went to a moderately busy one.
The original drive-thru layout was okay but you could see that any type of line would block access to the handicap parking for whatever business would be built beside it (Also can't believe the center didn't see this in the plans.).
Since construction did start the drive-thru moved. This now creates a parkinglot fiasco. If you want to go inside you now have to cross in front of the drive-thru traffic!
This location is also terrible with drive-thru line control. Multiple cars will be in line to order and then tons of empty space between the ordering box and pickup window. It's very bizarre and I have never seen this anywhere else.
The employees are very friendly and almost too chatty for the drive-thru. My most recent visit I did the mobile order and was in line when I received the message that it was ready. It then took an additional 10 minutes to get to the pick up window and after taking a bite of my sandwich I noticed it was barely warm and the usually melty cheese was solidified.
Next time I'll make sure I go to another location that know how to manage their...
