Stubby's Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Manheim Township

Well here we go..this was the 1st time that we have been back after it was the charcoal. Well it was Saturday about 430pm..the place looks very nice from the outside, the inside is stylish and friendly with a huge bar. The host stated it would ge couple minutes because the place was packed. Which was fine. After a brief wait, the host took us to the bar, stated we can just wait here and take the 2 seats there, the cutomers were done and leaving. This made it very awkward because they still had beer left and we were standing behind them and between 2 tables waiting..it was very awkward and unconfortable. What made matters worse, customers that arrived after us were seated before us while we were breathing down their necks. After 5 min we decided to move back to the entrance ant told the host that this was not good and very awkward. Another 5min past and we finally got our seat. During the 10 min wait, we were asked about 5 times by various staff members if we would like to start a tap. As stated the staff is amazing, friendly, helpful and fast. We only ordered waffle fries and a large stromboli. Waffle fries were good in taste, but a disaster, the whole basket had about 15 waffles all the others where sticks and small pieces. Stromboli, good in taste. But cold in the middle and the Marinara sc had no tadte, felt like someone opened a can can filled it up. As we left the host did the same thing, new customers were waiting behing our chairs and we barley got our jackets off the chair while the new customers tryining to claim the seat. I understand the rush bust this rush is awkward and feels like a drive thru. As well makes you as a customer feel...

If I could this place a zero I would. I came with a group and we were seated outside and today was a heat advisory and she (server Jalisa) tried to refuse us service in the shade because the tables in the shade were reserved. The server told us by sitting at shaded tables it would mess up the checks, even though we had not opened a tab yet. Service was slow at best. We sat there without beverage service for at least half of our time there. I ordered wings after waiting for nearly an hour, I got my wings but did not get the celery I ordered but was charged for it. I asked for lids for my dipping sauce and Jalisa rolled her eyes and acted like it was an inconvenience (by the way I got charged for BOTH ranch and blue cheese and I didn’t ask for either). At that point I got my food to go and asked for my check and had to wait another 20 minutes to get it. I normally would have mentioned to her but clearly she couldn’t bothered based off of the disrespect me and my fellows received. I have been going to Stubbys for years but this will be my last visit. Jalisa was a terrible terrible server was consistently made us felt unwelcomed and disrespected us greatly. If you decide to come here and have her as a server, either leave or request someone else, unless you prefer having...

We had a great experience at Stubbys last night after catching a movie with some friends. It was a bit on the hot side so the four of us opted to get a table inside and were seated right away even though it was still the dinner hour. The waitstaff member took our drink order within a reasonable amount of time and we were waited on appropriately throughout our meal...in fact, we were also asked by someone that may have been a manager if everything was to our liking...could've been Stubby himself for all I know (how exciting). Our food was good although one of our party who got the rather large stromboli (note to self...the stromboli is to be shared by two people) mentioned that it was good but nothing memorable. Those of us who got fries noted that the fries were small (one might say "stubby") and on the dry side. Our burgers were really good and not overthe top like some restaurants do who are trying too hard. All together, it was a good meal, good experience and we will likely return. Oh, and there were TVs all around the bar so we had a number of sport-watching options...
