Zags Pizza and Grille — Restaurant in Manheim Township

This is a new place nearby, so I wanted to try it out. The cheese pizza looked good, but was pretty bland. The cheese blend had very little flavor and the pizza was very greasy. I ordered online. There is a service fee, which was very annoying, and didn't appear to be listed anywhere (until checkout). I later found out its connected to the online ordering company they seem to use. Pickup time had a specific time selection, but then when the order is confirmed you are told it's ready "within" a 10 minute window. Again, why not just say this upfront? I think maybe they need to switch to another online ordering software. The restaurant inside is pretty nice and they have a big menu. I may try it again, but I'd skip the cheese pizza and wouldn't order online (you get a nominal discount when paying cash). I went to Zags for the first time! They have a great menu and great gluten free options! The gluten free pizza was good size and it was delicious. It was baked in its own separate pan and came with a wrapped gluten free pizza cutter! They have gluten free steak rolls that are huge and delicious! You can get any sandwich on the gluten free steak roll except the meatballs because they are not gluten free. The owner was so nice and friendly! This is what you should think of when you go to a pizza restaurant! The pizza was delicious, the subs were great, and even appetizers like the mozzarella sticks were spectacular. The staff was friendly and quickly served our food, and the atmosphere was perfect, with it being similar to a traditional sports bar.
