We were pretty disappointed with our visit. Just to put this at the top: The steak has great flavor!
The decor and furniture is mixed with no clear theme or common design. Frankly, the main dining room looks like a very dated church cafeteria. They have some private rooms that seat a small party in each that is great for a quiet private meal.
We got the beefeater steak to share (it's like 24oz of steak). For some reason they cut it half before cooking it. The menu states that it is only served rare or medium rare, which we ordered of course. It came out absolutely well done with zero pink anywhere in either half. We sent it back and received a new steak that was basically still raw. The outside was lightly browned and a good 90% of a cut was red cold raw meat. We had already received a bunch of excuses from the serving staff about why the first was not done right, so we just ate the edges and brought the rest home. I cooked it proper on cast iron high heat that gave it a nice crust with a good rare cool center. Once cooked right, it was an amazing piece of meat. It really just felt like the cook was mad that we sent back the shoe leather, so sent out something raw next. I wish I was exaggerating, and that is taken photos.
The walleye was very good. Another in my party got the shrimp, which was rubbery and overcooked. The cocktails (3 of them) were not quality and very underwhelming. The sides were pretty good.
I wouldn't return TBH. But if you get a steak that is cooked to order, you will not be disappointed!
To the staff: if a meal doesn't come out as ordered, no biggie. But please don't make excuses like 'it was overcooked because the hot cast iron they're served on cooks it more after it leaves the kitchen'. The kitchen should know this and cook the steak accordingly. A half dozen excuses and apologies aren't needed either. Simply apologize for the mistake, and bring out a new plate. And err on the side of too raw, a steak can always be cooked a little...

No manager never came to talk to me, or apologize. I had to ask for a discount twice (another 30 minutes - not exaggerating), which is something that should be offered after making a mistake like that. They are just very unorganized and don't seem to know how to handle stressful evenings. The food might be fantastic, but don't expect fast service or any ounce of respect.
