Since they moved to the new building we have visited three times. The first was right after opening. We got some stuff to go. The drinks and bakery was really good.
Second time about a month ago we went with two friends. Our total party was five people. They were also serving breakfast at this time. We waited soooo long for our food. And for someone to take the order. We were there for probably three hours total. Nobody refilled our drinks. Nobody cleared our table. We loved the food but the service was horrible.
Third time was not too long ago. We sat down at a table with a total party of three including a toddler. We say for thirty minutes and servers would look at us but nobody ever even greeted us or even gave us a menu! We ended up leaving to go somewhere else. We like the food. The dining room is too small. They don’t serve in a timely fashion to clear people out. Overall very disappointed and not planning to visit again anytime soon. If you have 2-3 hours to spare, then maybe this will work out for you.

Read moreOn the corner of 8th and Franklin. Nice classy place, food served on real plates, tea and coffee come in nice cups. Clean and eclectic. Good coffee (my wife loves the lattes) and my Earl Grey tea was really, really good. They serve a lot of coffee specialty drinks. Nice selection of baked goods. Sandwiches, soup and smoothies are available. Yes, they have a veggie burger. Try an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant. The people who run the place are extremely nice. This place is in the heart of downtown, near shops, and the Maritime Museum. I recommend this place if you find yourself in Manitowoc and want a place to relax, have a hot beverage of your choice and want a snack or a sandwich. There is no hurry here. As of 2022 they are in a new place. They are on the 700 block on York Street. A new very nice space. Great place to get a breakfast or lunch....
Read moreFirst time visiting. Great food in nice size portions for hungry people. Not higher priced than other places.had a variety of foods that all looked good, brought to the table hot and to as ordered. Looked like people came, ate and stayed to visit. Most tables filled. Coffee machine was loud where we sat but a different table might have been less loud. Smelled wonderful. Omelets were great. Large cup and bowls of DELICIOUS soups, and the most ham I've seen in a ham and cheese sandwich. Great food choices for breakfast and lunch. Great experience. Hopefully will get more hours open to the public again soon. Very...
