Legend Larry's — Restaurant in Manitowoc

Used to be real good back when their location was on York Street. Thats when that place was always busy. Just visited recently and the wings were dry. I ordered the honey bbq. There wasn't that much sauce on them. A couple of them tasted plain as there was no sauce on those. The cook fried the wings too long. I dont think he/she really knows how to fry wings. They were definitely not juicy and most of them were small. Still, I keep coming back hoping I will get a good batch. Also, no matter what you order, there's a long wait. It doesn't take that long to fry food. Please bring back 2009-2011 Legend Larry's wings that were plump and juicy. Not the over-priced dried out big toes we get currently. The wings are over-priced. There's better wings elsewhere for cheaper and do not go to...

I called in an order for Honey BBQ wings, sweet corn nuggets, and a coke. The woman told us we had to prepay over the phone, which we did.

When my husband arrived, the woman told him that they only had Pepsi. Why that wasn't disclosed on the phone call, I don't know. But it was only the first issue.

When he arrived home with the food, I asked him if he ordered the wrong flavor, because the wings smelled like buffalo sauce. He said no, and the receipt showed honey bbq. Upon eating them, they tasted like a combination of buffalo sauce and teriyaki...it was gross.

All in all, this awful order cost $20 and tbh I'm genuinely more irritated by the fact that we paid for a soda they didn't even have and no one said anything.

Being shady just to make a few extra...

I've been here a few times before, and actually drove out of my way (past Buffalo Wild Wings) to support a local business.

After placing our order, imagine my dismay when the jukebox started playing some kind of rap with "ngger" this and "motherfcker" that.

I don't really expect a place that serves booze to be all "Shirley Temple" or anything, but this is over the top, and for me, wholly unacceptable.

I asked the bartender if this was the kind of music they keep in their jukebox, and she dismissed my objection because it was "downloaded from the Internet", as if they had no control over what's played there.

Unless they exercise some discretion, I won't be back, nor would I recommend the experience to anyone else.

Too bad, because the wings...
