So McDonalds is offering free "thank you meals" to healthcare workers during the pandemic. This pandemic has done one positive thing for me, it has broken my fast food habit. I have now gotten in the habit of cooking at home. However, because of this free promotion, I thought I would go back and take them up on their offer. As a slap in the face to the profession, I was told pharmacists are not included as essential healthcare workers. As a pharmacist, and to the many pharmacy staff I work with, we are most definitely essential healthcare workers. We are on the front lines of COVID. When some doctors write for prescriptions from the safety of telemedicine - where do you think these people go? Where do you think people with respiratory issues usually go first before going to a medical facility? Do you even understand how pharmaceutical care is an integral part of essential healthcare? While I honestly could care less if I got a free Big Mac - you did one thing for me today in which I thank you for. The HeadManager was very, very RUDE!!! She was working ìn the 1st window where you pay. After I ordered & received help from another employee with the new APP, I gave him my order number & he ran it threw, My credit card was charged.
When I pulled up to 1st window, the Lady told me I owed, I then had said I already was charged & my card pd for my order. She didn't understand what I was saying. So as I start to tell her about this app, I asked if I could talk to the Head Manager.
She then replieds Very RUDE & LOUD ( I AM THE MANAGER). I told her that Her being a Manager should understand how this APP WORKS or go to some classes to learn. I HAD TO PAY HER ALSO???
From my experiences at quite a few McDonald's, no one knows anything about the new ORDER ahead &pay APP.
She wanted to charge me again for the food I already had paid for on the new McDonald's App w/my credit card & I had to pay again.

Read moreI went to this location to get coffee for my boyfriend and his co worker. It was early so I figured starbucks would be busy. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I know that at other places mocha is a flavor. That flavor is chocolate. I ordered a large black coffee and a large mocha latte iced. She chuckled at me and said which one. I repeated my order she proceeded to laugh at me and say they were not the same thing. I apologized and explained I dont go there often for coffee. I was confused and kept trying to see a full coffee menu but for some reason the new signs only show small portions of the menu at a time.
