For sure feel like this place is worth visiting. Just maybe during non prime time hours? We went maybe around 1p and waited 45+ min for the food. It was a little deceiving that there was no line because there was only one table taken. Later found out we were not the one and only-s (if that's a word) - others were just waiting in their cars. But, when food finally came out, they greatly apologized for the wait. In my book that accounts for a little something right?
The other something that can help make up for it is of course.... the food.
Steak Burrito Parrillito - for sure would order this again. The burrito was just straight up flour tortilla wrapped around meat of choice. An abundance of meat of choice if you can't tell by my photo. Hey, I mean, you definitely get your money's worth of protein in this dish. Not only quantity - but quality and flavor of the steak was great. The queso smothered on top was perfectly flavorful and might have helped make the dish.
Mexican Rice - my husband says I have a particular palate so what other way to say... I'm pretty particular about how i like my mexican rice and this place had it just right. Perfect texture, not too soft or hard, good basic flavor that's flavorful (if that makes any sense).
So when in Manor... or passing through... stop by and stay a while (maybe...
Read moreWe found this place while out near the Austin area...actually this restaurant is in Manor, Tx. THey are awesome!! If I could give them more stars, I would!! Their food is wonderful, the beef fajitas are tender and cooked all the way thru, the chicken fajitas are tender and not dry and so flavorful...both are flavorful!! A person doesn't really need salsa, but it adds to it. THey have great salsas...the green is my favorite!! Look them up and try it out, you will not regret it! THeir staff is friendly, it is not a "sit inside and eat" place, but just a couple tables outside with covers...very simple, but wonderful!! Thanks La Parrillita for the...
Read moreThis place is a wonderful little gem for street tacos and other interior Mexican dishes. Their street tacos are delicious, due to their delicious seasoning and marinade. They also have a few American favorites like quesadillias. Their Texas Dip comes with queso, steak, chicken and shrimp and it wonderful. It's a walk up building with no indoor seating, but there are a couple of nice picnic tables next to their window.
This place is definitely a must for a quick dinner pick up. Pay close attention to their hours though, as they are open different times. Might want to call beforehand to make sure...
