If I could give it less it would definitely receive Zero stars!
We walk in , there’s maybe 5 tables Of customers. The hostess asked the person in front of us if they wanted a table or booth and they said a booth and they try to make them take a table.
Then it was our turn I specifically asked for a table. The hostess said she wanted to sit us in the bar area, which to this I said we were fine, but I still needed a table. She all of a sudden need to go talk to the manager. The manager came back and tried to put us in a booth, and I specifically said no as I stated I want a table.The manager then started you wouldn’t want This corner booth here. I said no, I want a table. Mind you there were 8 to 10 empty tables in the bar area where they wanted to send us. The hostess and the manager start looking all over the room, trying to figure out where to put us. I told the manager we are fine sitting in the bar, but we want a table. I’m not sitting in a booth. So we finally get seated.
Then comes our waiter. My spouse ordered a Modelo beer. The waiter brought him a Michelob ultra light from draft. Of course, my spouse knew the difference and called him on it and then suddenly he got the right one. We ordered our food, which important to the story you’ll understand. My spouse and my food were fine. We ordered our son a chicken sandwich which is what he wanted the waiter put it in as a bourbon burger. So he brings all the food out and when we call him on it and show him that we ordered a chicken sandwich for my son, He stood there with a dumbfounded look on his face like he didn’t know what to do. So we asked him can you go and get the right thing so what does he do? He goes and brings it up as a new item takes my son’s plate away with his fries on it that he could’ve been eating and my son has to sit there for 20 minutes Because they didn’t expedite the Correction.
About the 20 minute mark my spouse, went up to talk to the manager and ask her where it was. She said it was coming right now and try to make this excuse that it took 20 minutes to cook a chicken sandwich because their chicken is so much thicker than anywhere else. That chicken sandwich was no thicker than anything you get at Wendy’s and they take five minutes to make it. My spouse called her on it as he’s worked in kitchens for years and he’s a chef. After he countered all her lame excuses. He was finally fed up.
At no point did she try to make anything right, make an apology, just excuse after excuse. We paid our bill and left. We will never return to this location and the staff and management needs to be replaced...
Read moreI hate giving bad reviews, I am typically a very sympathetic person when it comes to service workers, but oh my god, this was the worst service I have ever had. We had Yibran as our server, and the restaurant was barely half full, but we seemed to get ignored the whole time while other tables were doted on and small talked.
There were 2 of us, my boyfriend finished his drink about 4 or 5 minutes before I finished mine, then I finished my drink and the refill was taking so long I actually began timing it and give or take a few minutes it took almost 4 minutes to even be acknowledged that we needed a refill plus another 2 to bring it, added to the time after my bf finished his drink it was almost 10 minutes. When we finally did get our drinks, they were quickly slammed down on our table, didn't ask if we needed anything else, and he immediately left to go talk to this one table in particular, which he seemed to be checking on frequently. Not once throughout the night were we checked in on, not about the food, not if we needed anything, I ended up waiting a solid 10 to 15 minutes wanting to ask for a side of ranch but it was almost deliberate and strategic the way he would avoid walking next to our table, there was a couple (we ended up knowing them) 2 booths behind us, and two girls in the booth right in front of us he would check on and serve them frequently and walk between them but would walk far away from our table to get to them. he seemed to be the only server and bartender despite seeing many many many other servers come in and out of the back room at one point another server actually came out and did help us (Shout Out to Cheyenne) and seemingly scolded our server on not checking on his tables as he immediately checked on us for the first time the whole night right after. We just got the check and left because we were so fed up and we have ranch at home. The food was mid, our appetizer was too salty, our entree was flavorless and the only good thing was the strawberry lemonade. That couple 2 booths behind us we ended up recognizing as a friends Parents and they seemed to get exceptional service and were checked on multiple times JUST while we were there and they had been there before us for who...
Read moreTook my family to Applebee's and let just say it wasn't a great experience. This is not the 1st time at this location that the service was slow and food was bad. We went around 755pm we didn't get our drinks until 15-20 minutes later, we got our appetizer wings 1 second later to find out they gave us a plate that had been reheated and they was HARD. They then took the wings back and then 30-45 minutes later they brought out our plates. My son pizza was soggy and not cooked all the way. The steak dish was suppose be medium-well and they brought well done and rice was very mushy and then took 10 minutes to bring some butter sauce per request. We didn't get no refills. I had chicken and broccoli pasta. My noodles was hard in the middle & some pieces of broccoli. They brought my garlic bread out and was about to give to the wrong table until I had to call the man back to mines. They then brought out our wings remake after our food...we was close to leaving before we got the remake smh so we couldnt enjoy that.The older guy was trying his best. I get it was short staff however... paying customers should not have to SUFFER especially when we paying for a service and quality meal. This not the 1st or 2nd time and I'm fed up with the location why I finally decided to write the review. I gave them chance after chance different occasions.The manager was sweet she did what she could and was helping but I left a restaurant still hungry as everything had to go back for my family safety. Not trying get food posing for unproper cooked food. And it seems most of the dishes didn't meet TCS. I can go on and on but the whole purpose to go to a restaurant is so I wouldn't have to cook for my family (when we do decide to go out). I still tipped the waiter but APPLE BEES IN MANSFIELD PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER. oh and I got a $10 credit and a free appetizer that I still have to make a purchase to even use it. What a night not worth your money, waste my time and had look for other options after leaving there to eat...
