Dunkin' — Restaurant in Mansfield

When I arrived at the counter of the Route 128 Amtrak station there was nobody up front. The guy in this photo was standing in the back room, appearing to do some kind of inventory. I said “Excuse me” a few times and got no response. Then louder, since I assumed he couldn’t hear me, “Hello!” A little louder. At that point he disappeared into the back. I waited a few more minutes. He came out to the front and turned his back to the counter and kept doing inventory. At this point I had been standing there for about 5 minutes. Again, I politely said “Excuse me” 3 or 4 times. There was still no acknowledgement that he even knew I was there. In retrospect, he was clearly ignoring me, because he had to have seen me when he came out to the front, but my brain could not process that an employee would intentionally do that. So I thought that perhaps he was deaf and I needed to get his attention. So I took a quarter out of the tip jar and tossed it at his back. Stupid on my part, yes, but in that moment it became clear that he had never intended on helping me place and order, because that was the moment that for the very first he acknowledged for the very first time that he wasn’t alone. He turned around and told me that he wasn’t going to wait on me. He clearly had never had any intention of waiting on me and was just waiting for me to go away. I recently ordered a Matcha Latte, but more than two-thirds of the cup was filled with foam. When I brought this up with the cashier, I was told that this was the correct amount.

Please ensure that beverages are filled with liquid rather than excessive foam or air, as this seems to be a recurring issue. Consider updating the photo or providing a clearer description on the app to better reflect what customers can expect.
