I want to start by stating that my sister worked at a Jets Pizza all throughout high school so my family is very familiar and loyal customers of this chain. For my sister's college graduation she requested to have Jets Pizza. Knowing that this past weekend was going to be very busy with graduations and Mother's Day, my husband called ahead on Saturday the 11th and ordered 5 pizzas around 2:00 p.m for a 6:30p.m. pick-up time. On the way back from graduation we called this location back to let them know that we were on our way to pick up our order (around 6:00 pm). They claimed to have no record of the order being placed.
My husband requested to speak the manager. He was placed on the phone with a very young sounding gentleman who said his name was Jacob. Jacob took zero responsibility for this mistake. He said that "he had just gotten there at 5:00" so he was not on shift when we originally called in at 2:00 to place the order. He never once stepped up as the manager on shift and apologized for this error nor attempted to make it right. He was sarcastic, rude, and frankly this chain should be embarrassed by the tone and language he took with his customer. He needs further training in customer service and how to be a manager.
We finally had to ask him, are you going to take our order now? And make sure it is ready in time? He said to give him 20 minutes and the pizzas would be ready. Because the pizza was supposed to be done at 6:30pm, we already had people on their way at this time. However, still at 7:00 p.m. we did not have our pizzas and my father, mother, and uncle were stuck sitting at this store for over 40 minutes waiting on pizzas AND missing my sister's graduation party. We had people from 3 different states in town to celebrate, friends, family, etc and instead of spending time with family and getting to celebrate this time together they were missing out on this due to your franchise's error!
At the end of the day, we got our 5 pizzas (4 of which were cold...we apparently were waiting that entire time on one more pizza), over a hour late (from the original pick-up time requested), a half missed party, and $70 dollars later ended with a HUGE disappointment.
Being a loyal customer of this chain for over 15 years, I was appalled by the customer service (or lack there of) and know that this is not what this chain stands for nor does this type of customer service stand at any other location I have ever used. This mistake was a joke to Jacob and because he was not on duty when we called, in his mind, it was simply "not his problem." I do not care what line of business you are in, that is never an appropriate response as a manager.

Read moreI'm giving 3 stars because it used to be good and could become good again. I used to order from the Mansfield location alot alot . My family is not a huge fan, but I was addicted to the ranch sauce on the pizza and the jets boat. YUM. I have talked with the manager before and he always seems very nice and helpful ( even gave me free dessert when an order was taking too long). I tried befor ordering over the phone and the young guy I talked to was very confused with me ordering a customized calzone(boat) and didnt know how to put in the order...so I just told them I would do it online. ( much easier, no problem). But now I think the problem is the staff during the day sits around and dosent pay attention to incoming orders. Anyways I have been on a diet and pizza is not part of the diet plan. Lol. Well over the last 7 months I planned on having pizza, sometimes, as my cheat day food. So my first order several months ago I did an online ordered just a calzone (boat) and ranch. Ordered about 15 minutes early befor my lunch break to make sure it had time. I get a short lunch break...only 30 minutes and am about 5 minutes away. So went to pickup my calzone and was told it would be a few minutes. Noticed the guy went over to start making food and put it in the oven but wouldnt have guessed that was mines. But yep, from the time I got there I waited around 13 minutes total which is crazy when with my 15 ahead of time order and 5 minute drive time I would have waited that long at 230pm ( not a busy lunch time) and no other orders in sight. I think it's clear I was annoyed as now I had no real time to eat lunch ( I ate about a 4th and put the rest in the breakroom fridge) and I'm not someone who wants to scarf it down...especially on my cheat day I wanted to enjoy my pizza indulgence. Well so a few months went by which brought me to today. I decided what the heck to give it another try and order what once was my favorite pizza again. I'm at work so easy to do an online order. So I wanted to give extra time and ordered about 20 minutes early. Easy. Clocked out for lunch drove my 5 minutes down the road to Jets. When I went inside no one at the ovens, no one at the desk. Waited probably a full minute and the same guy from previous orders came to the desk and looked perplexed. He went behind the counter by the oven's and grabbed what I'm assuming is a ticket that prints out showing them an order came through, which apparently he hadn't seen yet. He came to the couter and told me it would be six minutes. LOL NOT AGAIN. Seems like they have trouble keeping staff during the day on top of orders. I told him to just cancel it and left. ( total waiste of my lunch break, time, and what I had hoped would be a yummy cheat day). As much as I liked the ranch sauce pizza...
