I saw they had a great artist I could make an appointment with, Lindsay…. but the lack of professionalism and consideration from her was upsetting/ bad for business. I went in shop Wed August 10th around 8pm and I booked an appointment the first Saturday of October 2022 for a large piece which would be a snake and flowers that would be located symmetrically on both thighs/ bottom. She required a 100 dollar deposit, which I was glad to pay. Overall I was super thrilled and initially vibed with her energy pretty well, things where off to a good start! I contacted her again September 20th to see the update on my design we discussed and unfortunately we had to reschedule due to injuries induced by a car accident. I was very understanding and had no problem! We then moved it to the first Saturday of December 2022….. Nov 3rd 2022 she contacted me and said we needed to change the date again for the same reason before. Her injury. I was a little irritated but glad it was not short notice and understood her doctor advised her to not bend over for to long. We rescheduled again to January 28, 2023 to give her time to heal. Should’ve been fine. However, I messaged her the Sunday before our appointment, a whole week in advance coming up to the date about designs and colors, asking questions and again on the Tuesday (24th) with no reply until 9:23pm the Friday before our appointment. She confirmed everything, or so I thought. Now today it was 12:52 am hours before the appointment she cancels, claiming to be sick, which I find odd considering she was out and about with her friends a couple days prior for her birthday, this I saw on her Instagram page (that I followed to keep updated about the appointment). Upon telling me this she then proceeded to ask to reschedule once again and I was willing to but after thinking the lack of curiosity Is too much. I asked for a refund of my down payment just for the lack of convenience of the whole thing and of course it was non-refundable. I ended up canceling because my schedule is too busy now, I can not trust that I will reschedule and get this thing done or even worse we start and I can never finish because my appointment never comes through. And it sucks because I had to take this day off from work as well. I’m just disappointed and was really looking forward to this tattoo...

Chris at Blood Moon is definitely it! Went in Saturday night to get a bad tattoo from 20 years ago covered up. Had a very hard time finding a piece to fit my aesthetic. I then started rushing myself to hurry up and find a piece that will fit. Chris told me he was more than willing to tattoo anything I wanted on me, but it felt like I was settling and he did not want to tattoo something on me that I would regret later on (like I did with the tattoo I was trying to cover up). At that instant, I felt SO respected as a customer! Chris went above and beyond to make sure that I was more happy as a customer, than his needs as a tattoo artist. Thankfully for Chris, the night was not wasted. My husband had been talking with Chris about a custom pipe wrench tattoo, and Chris more than delivered on that end as well! He drew up the sickest pipe wrench I have ever seen, and the traditional style far exceeded my expectations. Even though I didn't think it was possible, thank you Chris for making my husband even hotter ;)

As far as the shop itself - shop is clean, sitting area for guests is enjoyable, conversations from others was pleasant as well. The additional artists were super nice, even trying to give ideas/other direction with my cover-ups. Even though nobody wants to sit for a few hours while someone else gets a tattoo, I have to say I really did enjoy the experience from start to finish. Felt more like I was hanging out with family, than sitting at a business...

I was given a partial tattoo by one of the artists Donnie. Me and my wife showed up at the show around 5pm. The artist showed willingness to do both tattoos back to back. While I was a little hesitant, me and my wife went a head with it due to this being our first tattoo. We were there until 3am by which point me and my wife were exhausted. The artist provided us with an option to come back at a later date and complete the tattoo at no cost. It was a hassle trying to finish the tattoo I paid $600 for, even though I was informed it was possible to finish the tattoo at a later date without needing to pay. This date never came. I asked the artist if compensation was needed to complete the tattoo, I was told yes if I want to schedule an appointment.
