Providence Bagel — Restaurant in Mansfield

I don't normally leave negative reviews, but just total disorganization this morning. I placed my order online and showed up a few minutes ahead of the pick up time. I then waited 30 minutes (about an hour since putting in my order) to receive my food... What's the point of ordering and paying ahead??? While I was there waiting I saw at least 4-5 patrons enter, order their food at the counter, and walk out with their order before me. I approached employees behind the counter 3 times to check on the status of my order... The last time I approached the counter, I pointed out my observation of people getting their orders ahead of me and was met with some attitude and a "we're working on it". My family really enjoys the bagels here, good and creative product, but service is disorganized. I was hopeful I'd be offered an issue redeeming free donut that I could decline, but nothing of the sort. I have never been so disappointed with an establishment. My boyfriend and I came to the Mansfield location on a Sunday and ordered 3 bagels - the only special request being garden veggie cream cheese added to my harvest bagel. The girl at the counter was not friendly and did not make us feel very welcome. After waiting approximately 35-40 minutes for our bagels, I received my harvest bagel with no garden veggie cream cheese which I was charged extra for anyways. At this point, I was discouraged and not in the mood to bring the issue to the unfriendly staff and wait another 35 minutes for the correction. The bagels were stale and not the choices we would have picked in the first place. By 11am, they were out of almost every bagel. This is the second time that I have had an experience like this at this location. I was hoping to give them a second chance to redeem themselves, but they in fact did not. I visit the Mansfield location quite often. Always satisfied with the bagels and the coffee, of course. But one of the most important takeaways for me giving my money to a business is the customer service. I expect professionalism, kindness, smiles, good manners, respect, and just employees that are personable. I don’t find those 6 things at many establishments. But this one I do. In my experience I’ve found all the employees have all 6 of those important qualities. Including specifically Rebecca & Casey. Always super nice when I arrive and make me feel welcome. They aren’t afraid of getting to know their customers. They prepare the food and coffee in a timely manner. Always made perfectly. And both have great personalities. This is crucial for repeat customers. And one of the reasons why I keep coming back. Both deserve raises. When there is consistency this should be noticed by individuals in higher positions.
