It's Wendy's. So there aren't super high expectations. What I want from a fast food joint is the following...
Polite service. Food is hot. My order is accurate.
All three things happened here today. I ordered the new Cajun spicy chicken sammich, a large order of fries, and one of the new frosty flavors, vanilla caramel.
I ordered on the app and set for pickup. My order was ready when I arrived. But it hadn't been sitting a while. I know because my frosty wasn't melted at all.
My fries were hot when I got home. Meaning they had to be right out of the fryer when I picked them up. The Cajun spicy chicken sammich is decent. It's not as good as the ghost pepper spicy chicken Wendy's had for a few months recently. And it's definitely not as good as the honey hot spicy chicken sammich from over a year ago. But this was a nice change up that you really can't get anywhere else.
I love that Wendy's is constantly trying to think outside the box with their seasonal offerings.
The frosty was good. It's a little different than I was expecting. I was thinking the caramel might be mixed into the frosty, like DQ does with their blizzards. But really it's just a caramel drizzle along the inside of the cup and then yummy frosty is then poured in.
It's perfectly fine. I like it. I'll get a different flavor later on down the road.

I almost cried because I was getting talked to like an idiot for trying to order a coffee and the lady said she never heard of it when I can literally order it on DoorDash or ubereats, but it’s like they can’t comprehend words said to their face. Make sure you talk real slow and if you’re getting a drink I recommend just ordering a fountain drink. Forget about a frosty unless it’s chocolate or vanilla cause they won’t understand that either. Employees were complaining about their pay in front of customers. Get to the car and surprise, food was also missing from our bags. Only thing positive I have to say is the manager is very nice and it seems he’s trying his best with the crapshoot crew of a staff he has. I feel bad for him honestly. Hard to make a business work when you have people that don’t even try to make it work. He asked his employee infront of our face if everything was in the bag to which she responded yes, when we went back in to inform him it was indeed not in the bag he offered us a free frosty which was very kind. I pull up to the pay window and the fella says..... what was ur total, really???, idk🙄 I wasn't paying attention. Then he asked what I got I told him and he says oh ok I almost charged you 20 but that's not ur order... how do u mess that up when there is one line and everyone is n order???. Paid, pulled forward the girl at the next window was very nice... buuuut then my food was cold, ugh... annnnd they gave me a classic chicken not spicy which really sucked.. but it also wasn't crispy or warm so I tossed it n the air fryer when I got home but it didn't make it any better cause it wasn't spicy took a few bites and gave it to my kid.. I hadn't ate for hours and was so looking forward to my spicy chicken.. smh I don't hardly ever go over to that side of town annnnd I can promise you I won't ever visit that wendys again.. they do not have their life together over there which I wouldn't care about but they got my money and I sure didn't get what I paid for... huge...
