A Table Wayne's Kitchen — Restaurant in Manteca

After spending two nights and three days exploring the breathtaking Yosemite National Park, the hunt for good food on our way home was officially on! This has become our little tradition after every adventure—find something delicious so we can just relax when we get home without worrying about cooking.

My son found this spot and said, “It’s five stars on Yelp with over 200 reviews—let’s go!” We arrived around 5 PM, still a bit early for dinner, but we were surprised to see the place already buzzing with people. Luckily, we were seated right away and wasted no time diving into the menu.

Here’s what we ordered: CharShu BBQ Pork – $19.99 (with Garlic Noodles +$3) Bang Bang Chicken Plate – $17.99 (with Egg Fried Rice +$1) Chicken Katsu – $16.99 Tonkotsu Ramen with Braised Beef – $19.98 Shrimp Wonton in Chili Oil – $13.99

My absolute favorites were the CharShu BBQ Pork and the Tonkotsu Ramen—both were incredibly tender and packed with flavor! The garlic noodles were tasty but a bit salty for me. My son couldn’t stop raving about the Chicken Katsu, saying it was one of the best he’s ever had.

Service was impressively fast—food started arriving just 15 minutes after we ordered. The Shrimp Wontons came out last, so we only managed to eat a few (we were already too full!).

We were so stuffed there was no room left for dessert, but next time we’ll save space for sure.

Will definitely be back if we find ourselves in...

We had such a great experience at TableWayne's Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious, and you can really tell they put a lot of care into every dish. Everything we tried was full of flavor and cooked just right.

The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. It’s always nice to go somewhere new and feel so well taken care of. The restaurant itself is clean, fresh, and nicely put together, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal.

One of the best parts of our visit was meeting the owners, who couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming. Their hospitality really made the experience even better, and it’s clear they’re passionate about what they do.

I had high expectations of Wayne's when I came in since I had regularly ate at Kitty's kitchen in the past. I'm happy to say my expectations were surpassed. Their new menu has a greater variety of food, which tastes great. We tried the Chicken Katsu, Kimchi Fried Rice, and the Beef Chili Oil Noodles. I was very pleased with all three (I think the noodles were my favorite). Additonally, the customer service was excellent. Hannah is such a sweet and friendly person. She was very excited about the new menu and was happy to guide us through it and provide recommendations. You can truly sense the care and passion in the people who work here and in the food.
